“I have stayed here so many times during my 395 roadtrips and it is without a doubt the best hotel in and around Lone Pine. Clean, spacious rooms. You walk out to a beautiful view of the Eastern Sierras. Service is always friendly. And if you've got water bottles/coolers, there's a solid ice machine to fill up at.
I can't wait to stay here again.”
“Me and my friends went for Mt Whitney hike and stayed in Lone Pine. Hotel has 2 queen size beds, decent size rooms, they are clean. And good price compared to other options. There is a super market in walking distance from it. And a taco truck. Parking is right outside the room.”

“If all you care about is a fresh bed and clean shower, this is the place for you. However, don’t expect your room to be a tolerable temperature until you turn on and blast the AC for a couple of hours. I don’t blame management for not running all of the ACs all the time, but it is disappointing to get to your motel room at midnight expecting a break from the heat only to find out that the room is just as hot as outside.”
“Best price for a decent room if you just need to wash up and sleep after camping or hiking one of the 14ers. Room was a little warm and muggy despite it being 60 outdoors. Staff is nice, needed to go pick up extra towels from downstairs which was no problem. Bathroom is clean. Room has a fridge and microwave.”

“Spent two night in November 2025 and enjoyed our visit. The weather was rough while we were there, so our outdoor activates were hampered by the weather, but the hotel was nice and I can see how it is a great location if you are exploring the eastern Sierra. The hotel is right on the main road and there are plenty of dining establishments a quick walk from the hotel. Parking is ample and the view, had it not been so cloudy and rainy, would have been great. I can imagine it would get busy during the peak tourist season, but town was quiet and not overrun during our trip. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a basecamp for some Alabama Hills exploring.”
