“Probably the best hospitality we’ve experienced in a motel. The Owners are very sweet and friendly. They helped us not only with directions but also provided guidance with our plan (due to fires). They also offered us homely food and snacks since there aren’t a lot of options around. The location is also ideal along highway 395. Would recommend it to anyone traveling this route.”

“A few friends and I stayed over the weekend for a fishing trip. I've stayed at many motels up the 395, and this lodge is honestly the best place you can stay. The price was fantastic for what you get, check in is super easy, the rooms were very clean and included snacks, and management was super responsive when we had a quick question. I drive up the 395 a ton for skiing and fishing, and I will definitely be staying here again on future trips!”

“Linda runs a nice quaint old style roadside motel. There is no fluff and extras but she sure does help the visitors who come to town and help and volunteer at the Eastern Sierra Museum and the Souther Pacific 18 steam locomotive.”
“The motel was great - it is in a small town and has that rural feeling. You park the car under a tree right in from of your room, which is super convenient. All usual items were provided, and the host was responsive to communication and questions. The location itself can be problematic as there are no breakfast options that open early, and there is just a single choice for dinner (which we did not like).”
