The Inverness Store offers a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere that captures the essence of a small-town feel. Located conveniently off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, it serves as a popular stop for both locals and visitors exploring the Inverness and Point Reyes area. The store features a deli known for its fantastic sandwiches, particularly the Ruben, though opinions on the specialty vary. Sandwiches are generously portioned and reasonably priced at $12.99. While the selection of snacks and drinks is praised, the customer service experience can be inconsistent. Some reviews mention friendly staff members, while others report grumpy interactions from what appears to be a family-run business. Despite the uneven service, the Inverness Store remains a great spot to relax, grab a bite, or pick up ice cream for the road. The location by Tomales Bay adds to its appeal, making it a pleasant stop for a casual lunch or a snack after biking in the area. Overall, The Inverness Store is recommended for its quaint charm and delicious offerings, even if the service may vary.
Great sandwiches and wide selection of beverages among many other food supplies and snacks.

Good ole town feel with friendly rural atmosphere. Can't go wrong for a get-a-way from the hustle & bustle of The City. Go placidly...

Was iffy about this store when we walked in. Definitely not was what we’re used to but we were hungry. Saw the deli and got some sandwiches. There’s no customer service, I think it’s a family business. They seemed grumpy but the sandwiches were good. $12.99 a sandwich.
