how did they get 2.9 stars? This company is terrible. It looks like some "customer service" person replies to these reviews pretending they want to help. How about training your staff to communicate and help people rather than creating hurdles and literallly making it a guessing game on how to get equipment. It's mind boggling how a company is content being incompetent and indifferent.

1 star is way to generous for a negligent, deceptive, greedy company that knowingly gives you bad equipment, depending on you don't know better as a patient. has rude workers who put money and their convenience above needing patients health.I was scheduled to receive three pieces of equipment before discharge from hospital. When the delivery came, one item was missing and two were defective. Remember they had promised the equipment and the patient is in need of it. But the story just begins there. For four days, they try to delay by promising working equipment and then fail to deliver it, and then when confronted resort to lies and manipulation. I believe a lot of patients are forced to use this company and they treat you like you need their awful service. Forget getting training how to use the equipment, they drop of defective equipment and when you show them it's not working they tell you lies to keep it.The manager tried to dodge my calls. When I finally refused to take the defective equipment, he had to call. I told him I have dealt with the nonsense and dishonesty for several days and I don't want to deal with them ever again.

Physical Therapist requested a shower bench for me prior to me being discharged on 1/9. The referral was approved by Kaiser and It has not been delivered yet as of tonight 1/12. I phone your office this morning and was told it would be delivered today. It never showed. I tried using the link that was text to me and it states there are no scheduled deliveries to me as of 1/13. I have an incision on my spine that needs clean bandages that I am not comfortable changing without a shower. Please get my shower bench to me ASAP.

Apria was fantastic reaching out to me and delivering my medical equipment but not being able to adjust the walker/rollator was an issue. Equally fantastic at suggesting alternatives and picking up the equipment was very easy.

Apria did not deliver to correct address. I was not going to be home for 5 weeks and asked Apria to deliver to my address where I would be at for that time. Apria verified 3x that address. My complaint was “escalated” and situation I still do not have my DME. Lynn

I received my machine two days ago and have used it the last two evenings. I set it up according to the instructions. My experience last two nights is been that the system is very uncomfortable. I have the machine set on automatic and I have a nasal mask. Instructions on how to actually use the machine are very vague . At the current settings, the air pressure constantly blows my mouth open. I don’t know whether I’m supposed to inhale through my nose and exhale through my mouth, or inhale through my nose and exhale through my nose. I’ve called Apria twice and was told both times that they were not qualified to answer my questions. It would’ve been extremely helpful if a technician who is familiar with the machine and how it operates could in person make sure you know how to use the machine, know how to put the face piece on, and watch the operation on the individual to see if the settings need to be adjusted. I am currently waiting for a phone call from Apria for one of their respiratory therapists to hopefully answer these questions.

This place is by far the worst place with some of the most incompetent people I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. My father who is 90 years old was approved for a wheel chair back on 12/20/23 and Apria received the approval from the Insurance Co on 12/21/23. Since that time, I have called almost every day and up until 12/29 was given the same excuse that they were "processing" the order. On 12/29/23 I spoke with Brian, who rivals most DMV employees in intellect, and was told that Apria needed more info such as the following; What will the wheelchair be used for ? and how does it benefit the patient ?. Yes, you read that right, LOL. I followed up with the Dr's office and they called Apria to see what the issue was as all questions have been answered by the note from the Dr. and are on the same paperwork that was given to the Ins. Co for the approval to begin with. When the Dr. office called Apria, they acted confused (which they probably are) and asked for the same paperwork that had been sent on 12/21/23 and then shortly afterwards, confirmed they already had that paperwork. This is twilight level nonsense and I believe these people think if they take long enough and throw up enough road blocks, that people would just opt to give up or maybe pass away. I can't imagine a senior citizen dealing with any of this. I've asked to speak with a supervisor five times, they refuse to transfer the call and only state they will send an email to a sup and have them look into it.

Terrible customer service. The woman that help us was hateful and rude. My 95 year old mom was being released from the hospital after getting RSV. In the past they had delivered the oxygen to house and set it up for my parents. My Dad was willing to pay for this even though they have Medicare. But she refused. She nearly damaged my car shoving the canister in my car. Then we struggled to get it set up when we got it to the house. That's Elder abuse.

Apria had my dad's recent address to deliver his machine and even reconfirmed shipping address prior to placing his order. I started tracking the shipment and noticed they were sending it to his old address. I called immediately and Nikia was very rude. She promised she was going to change the delivery address and send new tracking information via email. I never received the new tracking number so I called yesterday. Not surprisingly, I was told when an order is out for delivery they cannot change the address, so Nikia lied to me and she didn't do anything to help.

I wish I would have thought to lookup Apria on Yelp before agreeing to get my CPAP machine from them. It is very obvious that they are a horrible company that is purely in business to take advantage of people in need of Healthcare supplies such as CPAPs.This has been one of the worse, most impersonal, unprofessional healthcare experiences I have ever encountered. The CPAP was delivered on or about Nov 21st. I was excited as I figured I was on my way to having a more restful night sleep, not that I had a problem seeing that I was sleeping 6 to 8 hours a night already.I should have known that this was going to be a epic failure when the instructions that came with my CPAP did not provide proper guidance on how to setup the machine. I eventually figured it out and got the thing setup after researching it on google. That was the easy part, now comes the time for me to figure out how to use this thing that is suppose to provide me with a more restful night sleep. EPIC failure. After multiply calls to Apria over the course of three weeks and getting the same worthless response to "be patience because it takes time to get use the positive pressure" which was impacting my ability to breath normally and therefore fall asleep, I gave up trying. Even when I was able to fall asleep, I would wake up as soon as the pressure ramped up and not be able to fall back to sleep unless I remove the CPAP mask. Seeing that this so called adjustment period was causing me to lose sleep to the point were I was only getting 5 maybe 6 hours of sleep and waking up very tired, I decided to contact Apria to see what my options were to return the CPAP. I was given an appointment to return the CPAC to the local Apria warehouse in Irvine. I showed up a few minutes early for my appointment and call to let them know I was in the parking lot and ended up waiting 30 minutes beyond my appointment time, if not more before someone came out to collect the equipment. Then to make matters worse, the incompetent employee asked to to sign a delivery / sales receipt / rental agreement rather something showing I had returned the equipment. When I point this out to him, his response was "I just work here". Never again will I consider Apria as a sources for my medical supply needs. They are nothing more than a warehouse distributor for medical supplies (and not a good one) in business to take your money and delivery no added value to support your concerns or assistance in getting your equipment setup properly. STAY AWAY

The physical therapist is very helpful, and tolerant of my dog, who also wants to exercise. The PA checked everything. Both arrive on time. Very grateful for this service.

Confirmed my address with Apria before shipment and they still shipped it to the wrong address. I called them back same day to let them know and they "escalated it" which means nothing. I still am without my machine and have zero eta.

Their driver literally came and started to disrespect everyone at the house because he saw that we had a different bed and didn’t want to wait until we figure it out with the his supervisor. Their staff are really disrespectful and not helpful at all. Honestly I will go with a different company

I have been trying for 3 weeks to arrange to have a cpap machine machine delivered.I recieved two messages within 2 days. I tryed to call back but sat on hold for almost 20 minutes and have to end the call. The next morning I recieved a text telling me my order was cancelled for lack of response after multiple calls. Really? I have called eight times and only spoke to human twice. All other I sat on hold for 15 minutes or more. The two times I did get through I was told the person I needed to speak to was no at there desk and I would get a return call. I am still waiting.Aprias customer service is terrible. This is a health care service company.I would expect a lot more.

ZERO stars. Absolutely TERRIBLE company and TERRIBLE service. I am using a CPAP provided by Apria through my insurance for the past 4+ months. Until last claim made in September they have been sending claims to my insurance company and got paid. But the last claim was sent to my medical group instead of insurance company and therefore, it was denied payment. So, because it was easy for them they just went ahead and charged my credit card. I contacted my insurance company and they got in contact with Apria and clarified it. Apria then resent the claim to my insurance. However, they say they are not going to refund until they get their payment, which takes 30-40 days. And it will not happen automatically rather than requiring another call from me to request the refund.TERRIBLE!
