I do not recommend coming to this pharmacy — the service is absolutely terrible. The staff clearly don’t like people and they make sure you feel it.
You come to the pharmacy to pick up your order, and they say, “Oh, you know what, your order was packed incorrectly. A medication that isn’t covered by your insurance was included. We’ll need to repackage it.” Then you stand there waiting for 20 minutes while someone handles it. Meanwhile, the ladies from the pickup department prepare the order quickly but don’t pass it on to the staff. So you just sit and wait for a long time.
When you finally come up and ask, “Hey, it’s been 20 minutes — is my order ready? How much longer will it take?” they just hand it to you without a word. Turns out, your package has been ready for a while.
That’s the kind of service they offer here. Now it’s clear why there are so many negative reviews. It’s all true — confirmed today. Management should seriously pay more attention to how their staff operates.

was in Lake Forest when a transaction was made at this store today at 3:04 pm. I don't know the store, but someone was shopping. I arrived at the Lake Forest store and used Trabuco to buy some perfume and take advantage of my Extra Care reward because I'm a member. When I tried to pay, surprise, I had nothing left but $18, it had disappeared. Be careful. This could only have been done by someone inside CVS, who has access to everything.

Mixed Experience at the Pharmacy:
I recently visited the pharmacy, and while I can't generalize, I must express my concern about the level of customer service. Unfortunately, my experience included encounters with a female individual in charge of workers who was notably rude. My advice would be for staff to avoid bringing personal problems and bad attitudes to the workplace. I hope some changes happen here. It used to be a great pharmacy.

The worst pharmacy in the history of the universe. Hey, we're ordering what you need. Few days, call into the most awful automated phone system ever that doesn't register numbers input from an iphone correctly, spend 15 minutes on hold. Well we don't have what you need, call back in a couple of days. Wait, so you're saying it's on ME to call YOU because you can't keep it in your "que"? Ya, these people are worthless. I will call EVERYDAY, several times a day, just because I have the time to do so. Maybe, just maybe, try doing your job over there and taking care of the people that come in every month, same day, same time, for the same thing. Actually, ya know what, I'll bet I can find an "online service" that will deliver. I hope CVS goes out of business.

I used automated system to refill prescription for my daughters rescue medicine for asthma and it said it would be ready the next day after noon. I went in a 7pm and was told sorry insurance didn't cover it for another 2 days, so they didn't fill it. I said can I use discount card (GoodRx)? and of course "our system is down for discount cards" which sounded a lot like "we don't get reimbursed as much for that, so no you can't use that", BUT you could pay 8x as much in cash. $$. Without much recourse for an essential medication, I said I'd pay cash. OK come back in 10 min. I came back in 20 min to be sure they had enough time and instead of being able to just pick it up, then had to go to the back of a long line and wait another 10 minutes! Ultimately I think insurance is to blame for almost all of the issues, but the pharmacist was cold and not apologetic for the illogical and inconvenient process.

My order was picked up by someone else, and CVS do not have an option to complain about this.

There's something wrong with CVS in general, when you send over an electronic transfer request, they automatically deny them. I just had four requests sent over via Amazon home pharmacy and each one of them were immediately denied by CVS. I don't think they have a right to do that. I'm the one initiating the transfer and they have no right to hold my prescriptions against my will.I spoke in person with the pharmacy manager and he said that the other pharmacy should give him a call. I told him that to do with electronically and that CVS needs to respond with the transfer. Everything is supposed to be done electronically so there is a record. Another pharmacy is not going to sit on hold until they decide to pick up the phone over there. So I'm giving this pharmacy at one star because of their rejection of automatic transfers to other company pharmacies, lousy customer service and because of their outrageous prices.I advice anyone to go through Amazon Home pharmacy instead. You can set up automatic refills and use your Amazon card to pay. And it's way cheaper. One medication CVS was going to charge me $89 and Amazon pharmacy charges $17 same medication, same prescription and no insurance!Goodbye CVS with your horrible customer service , inability to fill prescriptions, lack of communication and your prescription goes for weeks without being filled, horrible hold times, and outrageous prices.

Terrible place. They will put you on hold and say there is one person ahead of you then answer and tell you there are 2 people ahead of you and then hang up. The staff is rude and unprofessional. You can speak to anyone because all they do is put you on hold.
