Americans should understand that the concept is very fair prices with minimal service. No butcher. Bag your own goods. Be prepared for occasional spot shortages. I try to avoid bringing my kids with me when I'm shopping because there's always something going on in that complex. Drugged out people or panhandlers scoping out the parking lot.
