“My battery light came on 80 miles before our 10p arrival just outside Yucca Valley. The next morning, it was on all 20 miles to Ace, where they took me in first thing. They were amazing and hospitable and church musicians and streamed Tool playlists while they worked. My alternator was verified dead, with visible damage. I got a new refurbished alternator put in. Anomalously, it was bunk, discovered when the battery light came back on within a mile. These guys made good on Everything. I can’t even go into details it was so fabulous, but they know, and I know. Ultimately, after good faith and honesty and patience, I got anOther alternator that is now, every time I turn the key, all like
“Hey, you startin’ up? Need anything charged, like your battery? I can do it. I’d love to! Charging, that’s what I do, just fire it all up!”
And my new custom regulator, it’s like “Need me to regulate the charging? I’m great at that, especially with This guy down here doing the charging part. We work together, we always do, it’s no big deal, we’re just great at it!”
Not only was my original battery undamaged by all the hubbub (including miles of highway driving with a clearly dying old alternator and having to get recharged in the shop, several loaner batteries linked together with it, with jumper cables, to get a critical errand done while waiting for a particular part to arrive, and many eyes looking and judging at it), but it is today performing optimally, like it is invigorated by the new alternator/regulator team that are currently snugly linked to it. Ace did Great. And they did it with Great class. I even watched them help other people with various issues with the same consistent professionalism while I lurked in the lobby. Another company in town (won't say their name) told me to just replace the whole door because glass cant be replaced on newer doors. But these guys got the job done for a fraction of what a whole door would have cost me. Fast service too. In my opinion they deserve more than 5 stars.”

“I have to say that it is hard to find a good, honest and reputable mechanic and Jason, the owner is one of the few. We are on a road trip and our car had issues and needs some fixing. We called JCS Auto Repair early in the morning and Jason happened to be in his shop doing some work during his day off. It was also weekend and a day before Easter. He told us to bring our car and he’ll look at it. He did his best to help us but unfortunately our car needed more work. JCS Auto Shop is a gem in Yucca Valley. “So several years ago Don helped me out with my truck door that wasn’t closing correctly.. He corrected the problem. I always remembered that. Which led me to him once again today. My taillight was knocked out by a guy in a parking lot and the guy was nice enough to buy and replace the taillight he ordered online. Problem was my tailgate was out of order… haven’t been able to open it in over a year. So I stopped in and Don within minutes took apart the tailgate and fixed the mechanism in minutes and installed the new taillight for me. He is a problem solver.. He is very very impressively a great mechanic.. probably with any make and model. A talent you don’t see often.. Thank you Don! Awesome work!”

As a solo female traveler living full-time in my RV, finding trustworthy and skilled help on the road is everything—and Joe at LC Auto & RV was truly a godsend.
My power steering hoses needed replacement, and I was stranded in the desert wondering what to do. I was turned away from all other shops but thank goodness because I was Divinely being guided to Joe's shop where he got straight to work with no hesitation!
He welcomed me and my dog to stay parked safely outside the shop, made us as comfortable as possible, and recommended some amazing local spots—there’s a charming bakery, coffee shop, laundry mat, thrift shops, yoga studio, and great restaurants just down the Main Street, which helped turn a stressful moment into a peaceful pause.
Instead of telling me it couldn’t be done, Joe found a way. He sent my hoses off to be custom-made, and when that wasn’t enough, he made calls and sent a guy 80 miles away to get the parts I needed. I’m certain he gave me a kindness deal, but more than that—he gave me the priceless peace of mind as I got back on my route only 2 days later.
Thanks to Joe’s efficiency, expertise, and genuine heart, my rig is running better than ever as I make my way up the California coast. I’ve thanked God for him every day since.
