Quite frankly deserves more stars. Is it a long wait? Yes. Do you have to book an appointment? Yes. Is it far in advanced? Yes. “My battery light came on 80 miles before our 10p arrival just outside Yucca Valley. The next morning, it was on all 20 miles to Ace, where they took me in first thing. They were amazing and hospitable and church musicians and streamed Tool playlists while they worked. My alternator was verified dead, with visible damage. I got a new refurbished alternator put in. Anomalously, it was bunk, discovered when the battery light came back on within a mile. These guys made good on Everything. I can’t even go into details it was so fabulous, but they know, and I know. Ultimately, after good faith and honesty and patience, I got anOther alternator that is now, every time I turn the key, all like
“Hey, you startin’ up? Need anything charged, like your battery? I can do it. I’d love to! Charging, that’s what I do, just fire it all up!”
And my new custom regulator, it’s like “Need me to regulate the charging? I’m great at that, especially with This guy down here doing the charging part. We work together, we always do, it’s no big deal, we’re just great at it!”
Not only was my original battery undamaged by all the hubbub (including miles of highway driving with a clearly dying old alternator and having to get recharged in the shop, several loaner batteries linked together with it, with jumper cables, to get a critical errand done while waiting for a particular part to arrive, and many eyes looking and judging at it), but it is today performing optimally, like it is invigorated by the new alternator/regulator team that are currently snugly linked to it. Ace did Great. And they did it with Great class. I even watched them help other people with various issues with the same consistent professionalism while I lurked in the lobby. J&K Automotive Repair, LLC. was recommended to me by the trailer hitch company, when I purchased one for my vehicle. Josh, the owner, was very helpful in getting me my quote over the phone to install the new trailer hitch on my car. When I arrived, I was greeted by his wife, who also works there; she checked me in and got my paperwork setup. They took my vehicle back right away and got started on the hitch installation. Josh was able to complete the job ahead of schedule, which was a plus. This was a great value for the cost of the service.

As a solo female traveler living full-time in my RV, finding trustworthy and skilled help on the road is everything—and Joe at LC Auto & RV was truly a godsend.
My power steering hoses needed replacement, and I was stranded in the desert wondering what to do. I was turned away from all other shops but thank goodness because I was Divinely being guided to Joe's shop where he got straight to work with no hesitation!
He welcomed me and my dog to stay parked safely outside the shop, made us as comfortable as possible, and recommended some amazing local spots—there’s a charming bakery, coffee shop, laundry mat, thrift shops, yoga studio, and great restaurants just down the Main Street, which helped turn a stressful moment into a peaceful pause.
Instead of telling me it couldn’t be done, Joe found a way. He sent my hoses off to be custom-made, and when that wasn’t enough, he made calls and sent a guy 80 miles away to get the parts I needed. I’m certain he gave me a kindness deal, but more than that—he gave me the priceless peace of mind as I got back on my route only 2 days later.
Thanks to Joe’s efficiency, expertise, and genuine heart, my rig is running better than ever as I make my way up the California coast. I’ve thanked God for him every day since.

Another company in town (won't say their name) told me to just replace the whole door because glass cant be replaced on newer doors. But these guys got the job done for a fraction of what a whole door would have cost me. Fast service too. In my opinion they deserve more than 5 stars.”

“These guys do honest, great work. Tailgate on my pick up truck wouldn’t open, and he explained to me that it’s most likely the clip that holds the rod and so instead of having me leave it so he can charge a bunch of money he instead told me the part to get from the auto parts store right up the street and bring it back in. He then fixed it within five minutes by replacing the clips, At no charge!”
“Gem of a place! Cornerstone of this business is integrity and good old fashioned know how. I had a busted valve on my Honda crv2001, I had taken it to autozone to get a reading on the check engine light and it showed a misfire on the 3rd cylinder. George ran a compression test and showed the same result. He also mentioned this was a known issue with this engine which some google research confirmed. The remedy was to get a valve adjustment very 30000 miles or so. The previous garage I went to never mentioned this to me. The prices are fair, but an honest mechanic you can trust is priceless! And I am a mechanical engineer”
“These guys are incredible. Made my 2005 Hyundai look like a 2019. They did lots of extra things, including replacing wheel lugs, spray painting hubs and wheel mounts, power washed engine, steam cleaned upholstery and every nook and cranny was cleaned. They took out the car seats and thoroughly cleaned the interior, and it looks incredible. Buffed the car finish - looks brand new. Joseph and Shawn are just great guys, great Fathers and great sense of humor - and I encourage you to hire them if you want incredible results!”

“I had a great experience at Ole’s. I came in with a worrying clanking noise on tight turns and figured I might be looking at a bigger repair. They got my van on the lift right away, checked everything carefully, and even took the time to test drive it with sharp turns in both directions. Instead of trying to sell me on work I didn’t need, they were completely honest and let me know that everything looked solid — no torn boots, no worn components, nothing unsafe.
They explained what the noise could have been and reassured me that intermittent sounds like that can happen, and that I didn’t need to spend money on anything right now unless the noise became consistent or more severe.
I really appreciated the honesty, the clear communication, and how quickly they helped me. It’s rare to find a shop that doesn’t upsell or exaggerate problems. Highly recommend Ole’s for their integrity and expertise.”
