“I´m actually writing this review out of nostalgia. My hubs and I literally happened upon this place when it was still in construction way back in the 2000s. We were visiting some artist friends who were among the first to flee the L of A and I can't remember who but we stopped by while Bruce (or, eh Brian?!?) accompanied by his two dogs was busy constructing the divider walls between the rooms. Long story short, as he hadn't opened yet, we went back a few time when he was and it certainly is among the most beautiful memories of hubs and my time in the US! I don't know if it's still run under the original owner and we haven't been for the longest time because life moves fast but I just had to reminisce to the times...I have a picture of us three among the construction mess, yapping doggies in the background, chatting about our shared love of midcentury and all things retro, back when retro wasn't retro...Anyway, if it is still what it used to be, it's one of those magical, imaginative places that stay in ones heart for long. It certainly did with hubs and me! Much love to Mojave Sands and Joshua Tree (how much it has grown!?!!) from now Germany!”

“We stayed this past weekend at the castle house estate. It was affordable and close to the nationalpark. they had room service which was a nice perk, but we had brought our own food so did not utilize. the room had a AC/heat unit which was great for below freezing temps we had this weekend. it had super fast wifi and great views of the stars. ***I am writing this review mostly in hopes they see this and I can give some ideas/feedback so it's more functional and less instagrammable. ***We stayed in the shipping container (without the pool) really cute from the outside and very aesthetic on the inside. My comments: 1. the room is tight width wise, which is why there is a full mattress instead of a queen. However, knowing that, why do you choose a bed frame with a 3.5" perimeter all the way around? we could barelywalk on the sides by side stepping. Please maybe substitute for something with less width.2. no mirror, maybe even having a small counter one in the drawers would be nice 3. WHY IS THERE A GIANT UNMOVABLE ROCK AT THE FOOT OF THE BED???? We can barely get around the side, but now the foot too? Yes we did stub our toes. please keep the rocks outside this isn't aesthetic this is inconvenient on all levels.4. the bed was way too soft, which if you have back things like me. it makes it hard to get more than 2 hrs of sleep 5. too many throw pillows, not enough space to put the pillows.4/5 stars because of the sleeping arrangement issues.”

“WOW!! We got so lucky booking our stay at Spin & Margie's. We stayed in #5 a stand alone cottage with a nice private patio. We were so happy with the room. It was peaceful, clean, fun decor, a nice bathroom with a bathtub/shower, and a little coffee/kitchen area with an apt size refrigerator. Also provided was a small, yet exceptionally cool selection of diverse CD's and a handful of great DVD's. We enjoyed being there so much we bypassed TV watching and stuck with CD's enjoying the beautiful desert night air to great music. We have a luxury mattress at home and I thought the bed wasn't going to be great, but to my surprise I slept better there then I do at home. They got everything right in my book! This place is so charming - definitely an artist's oasis free of noise, light and electrical pollution! Another BIG plus is their LOVELY pool in a separate very well designed area flanked with pepper trees. We enjoyed the pool as we watched the sun go down.It was easy to check in, they have a lock-box system and send you the instructions hours before your stay.It took us a little bit to figure out exactly where it is as it's definitely a hidden treasure. When your GPS says you have arrived, you make a right onto the dirt road and it's your first right. If peaceful, artsy, boho is not your style, please stay away. More room for us! We will definitely go back.”

“Service is A++++. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Specifically, anytime I needed help with something,I couldn’t figure out the heater in my room and almost had to resort to freezing through the night. I tried texting the helpline, and within five minutes, someone dropped off a portable heater for me! I wish I got her name, but unfortunately. She was working the evening shift on Sunday, January 28Toron offered a solution and was super friendly about it. I started getting a rash on my arm one morning, so I went to the office to ask for some ice. Toron quickly got some for me and offered to run down to the store to get me some benedryl if I didn’t have any. I thought that was so nice and above/beyond. Thank you, Toron!Max was also helpful too. My coworkers and I needed a few more coffee drip kits and he wasn’t hesitant about handing out multiple. I know these are probably pretty expensive. My airstream could’ve been a bit cleaner though. There’s an ottoman by the door of every classic airstream and when I moved mine closer to the couch, there was a thick layer of dust. The boot tray was also filthy upon arrival. Because of these 2 things, makes me question how clean the bathrooms and dishes are. I know many wouldn’t bat an eye to these things but I’m not an outdoorsy person so I’m hypersensitive to cleanliness. :)Overall, great team and great service. If you can handle some Highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Joshua Tree Ranch House. The room is clean, the design is very well thought through and the owner is super friendly and welcoming. We loved the fact that we could walk to several restaurants and cafes. The drive to the park's west entrance was short, so we went hiking very early in the morning, came back during lunch time when it was too hot and spent some time at the pool before we returned to the National Park for stargazing at night. We would recommend everyone to stay here.”
