After experiences I've had at other clinics, I only have enthusiastic praise for this place. Friendliest and most attentive staff ever. I've never experienced wait times and my cat is always well cared for and sent home with the proper treatment. They don't push expensive meds and are flexible with treatment options. I don't trust my pets with anyone else.”
“The staff is so kind and helpful! The front desk is really nice and the vet team is as well. Appreciate they help you figure out next steps for your pet without you feeling forced to go all out and test for everything if you cant afford it. They find a good balance to help your pet one step at a time. Also the wait is always fairly short and reasonable which i really appreciate as well. And they seem to genuinely care and want to help! I had been going to a different vet for years prior until i moved, and i'm shocked at how much nicer and efficient and helpful this vet clinic and staff is. They have helped my dog and cat so much and i'm so thankful!!!”

“Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. We arrived on time for the appointment and were taken back to the treatment room, but then were not seen, while other pets were seen. When I checked back in with the front desk, they appeared to not know who we were, when our appointment was, or when or if we would be seen. Bad all around.
UPDATE: This issue was promptly--and graciously--resolved with a follow up appointment the following day and free exam. It is refreshing for a veterinary practice to acknowledge and address a concern so quickly and directly. We will be returning.”

“Coming from our last place this vet is SO much more convenient in terms of travel time and cost. The time taken with our cats (attention to detail, helpful information, tips, answers to questions) were very much appreciated, and while we weren’t there for an overly long amount of time, it felt like a very complete visit with an exceedingly competent staff. Both the techs and Dr Afshar handled our cats with care and skill, and we were given very helpful information on how to handle the weight gain of our chunkier-than-ideal cat who is already an active girl.
A sign that makes me excited to continue coming back to this vet was how they recommended brushing our cats’ teeth—sounds silly but our previous vet didn’t mention it at all and we weren’t aware it was a thing (we learn something new every day!)—and this to me, shows that they aren’t just there to get the payment of future dental cleanings, but actually care about our cats’ overall wellbeing.
The exam room was also exceedingly adorable, the purple platforms on the wall for cats to jump up on really delighted me, and even though our cats weren’t exactly in a jumping mood, they did seem to at least tolerate (if not enjoy) being put up there while we waited between providers coming in.”
“I started bringing my two bearded dragons here for their parasite and infection treatment a few months ago and the entire staff at Exotic Animal Vet Center has been amazing. From front desk, vet techs, and the doctors. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to listen to concerns and gave me all the information I need to get my beardies feeling their best.”
“This is the best animal hospital ever! The vets, techs and reception are all so caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Ahmad is always so happy to discuss the intricacies of my dog's health issues and thoroughly explain all of the options available for her. I feel like I learn so much when I'm there and nothing is ever forced on me.I'm also always shocked at the affordability when it comes time to pay, which is a nice change from the shock you get at corporate animal hospitals :] I've also never had to wait more than 5 minutes after appointment time. They are super efficient and well-organized.They also work with rescues to get them affordable care. I genuinely can't recommend it enough.”
“Dr. Ancu has been our vet for over 10 years. Both Dr. Ancu and his staff have always been professional and courteous while attending to our pets. He always takes the time to call to explain current status or any treatment(s) our pets may need, as well as, costs involved.”
“I have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!”

“Great vet. Our dog had an incredible amount of anxiety when she visited our old vet, not only a danger to herself but to the staff. We decided to try EGVC and they were totally understanding and made the experience as bearable as possible, even letting us accompany our dog during portions of the tests, shots, etc. in order to comfort her. It was a huge relief to finally find a vet who can handle our pup and give her the care she needs.”
“We used to go there years ago, for acupuncture with Dr Zoe. It's been 7 years since we had a dog too. We took in our new shelter dog for an exam, and they even honored the Animal Shelter coupon for a first time check at a VCA Pet Hospital. Dr Kohan (sp) and our wonderful tech were so VERY kind, gentle and knowledgeable. Sadly our boy had other health conditions, unknown to us at the time, and had to be put to sleep weeks later. When I mentioned to them that he was gone, I was sent the loveliest card, signed by the whole staff! Their comments were f very sweet and SO GREATLY APPRECIATED. Also Village Vet is still very affordable... Thank you to everyone's there, especially our sweet tech! They even sent a guide for navigating the loss of a pet!”
