“Everything I have had from TMC has been the best…I have been a regular here since the day they opened.
My go to is always the prime filet (which my boys really enjoy as well) but I change it up and go with the grass fed ribeyes, black opal wagyu, prime NY, porterhouse and once had one of the large tomahawk steaks.
My boys and I also love the filet burgers and TMC smokehouse burgers.
The staff is very knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

“This local butcher shop is small but mighty! Besides enjoying their beef/chicken asadas, I've really been blown away by their beef cuts. Fresh produce sometimes available such as avocados which were very good too! After reading reviews I will ask about getting a turkey for November this year. Price is fair for the high quality/service. Can't wait to grill up more stuff!!”

The Al Pastor is so tasty…I like to slow cook about 3 lbs in a cast iron pan for about 2 hours to caramelize to perfection and serve with all the yummy taco fixings, including the homemade salsa I buy here. I live in the South Bay and the drive is totally worth it every time!!!!!!!”
“Stater Bros in Yorba Linda is one of those grocery stores that quietly does a lot of things right. It may not have the hype of some of the bigger chains, but every time I go, I leave thinking this is exactly how grocery shopping should feel—simple, clean, and reliable.
The first thing you notice is how well kept the store is. It’s consistently clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The aisles are laid out in a way that just makes sense, and you don’t feel like you’re wasting time trying to find things. Everything feels familiar and efficient, which I really appreciate, especially when you’re just trying to get in and out.
The produce section is solid—fresh, well displayed, and regularly stocked. Same goes for the meat department, which is honestly one of their strong points. You can tell they take pride in it. The quality is good, and there’s always a decent variety whether you’re picking up something quick or planning a proper meal.
What I like most about this location is the overall vibe. It’s calm. You’re not dealing with the chaos you sometimes get at bigger grocery chains. Even when it’s busy, it never feels overwhelming. It’s just a comfortable place to shop.

I enjoy shopping at the Stater Bros. on Whittier Blvd in West Whittier. Ever since they moved into the new location, the experience has been fantastic. The store is consistently spotless, bright, and incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find everything I need.
The real highlight, however, is their legendary meat department. The certified meat cutters are true professionals—always willing to offer a custom cut or seasoning advice—and the quality of their ribeyes and marinated meats is simply unmatched by other local chains. The produce section is equally impressive, always stocked with fresh, crisp fruits and vegetables.
Beyond the products, it’s the people that make this store special. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, giving the place a warm, community feel that you just don’t get at big-box stores. “I have been coming to this Stater Bros. for a little over a year now specifically to get meat to cook for my dogs. Every single time I have gone to the butchery it has been amazing service. Incredibly kind staff, quick, and very helpful to me. A standout for me was employee Mark at the meat department, as well as another gentleman who I did not get their name but will next time I go. Mark told me that the other gentleman had told him one of my dogs had passed away and offered his sincere condolences. Mark also provided me with great service and I am so thankful for his kindness during a hard time. Thank you again to the people working in the meat department!”

My only critique was the filling, I asked for berry compote and it tasted like jelly out of a jar not horrible! Just would’ve tasted better with it handmade. But the frosting, the cake, the decorations was perfect!”

“I've been to Don Peter's Carniceria several times now, and they never disappoint. Most recently on Valentine's Day, they offered an incredible steak and lobster special for two -- and both were absolutely top quality. The steak was beautifully marbled and tender, and the lobster tails were fresh and delicious. For the quality you're getting, the prices are surprisingly low. I've also tried several of their marinated meats, along with their fresh salsas and guacamole, and everything has been consistently outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help with recommendations or cooking tips. This place is a true gem -- highly recommend!”

“I am a Stater Bros customer for at least 30 yrs or more I love this SB on State College I have always been treated very well and have never had a problem with any of the employees . If I ever needed help with anything I was kindly helped. The only thing I noticed is that the young baggers need to be trained on what items to bag together keep cold items together not with canned items and don't put too many heavy items in one bag it s too heavy for an older person to carry if someone comes in with cooling bags don't put cans or non cold items in it. They just need to be trained that's all. I love all the cashiers and deli,bakery,produce employees too,some I know by name,thank you Tina,Alicia,Anthony, Dave,just to name a few and I have to say that the current store manager is great!!

“Workers are nice and friendly. My kids even have their own fave cashier they made friends with and always look for her when checking out. They have a good selection of greens for bearded dragons. Chips that are on sale are always stocked! Good fried chicken.”

“Location is in a small parking center with ample parking. The place is a mix between a meat store and a restaurant. I didn't order any cuts of meat, but they looked to be reasonably priced and quality.
They had some TVs going on playing the playoff games, with some families inside enjoying their sunday afternoon. Seems like a quaint location to just have a pleasant meal.
Ordered take out, and got the Prime Rib Sandwich, Small Order of Steak Fries, and Mac Salad. The Prime RIb Sandwich offered an okay amount of meat, but it was fatty and flavorful. The Mild BBQ sauce paired fairly well with the sandwich. Star of the meal is the steak fries. Well seasoned, well cooked. The mac salad is mac salad: creamy. Would come back to try some of the other meals.”

“I have been on the search for a good menudo spot in La Habra and I have to say I found a spot this place was not only clean but the service was fast and the people where friendly and if you need some groceries you can also do a little shopping also since they are a market. The menudo had so much flavor and they where not stingy with the meat and they actually have a option for harmony. I love a menudo that has harmony I feel like it brings out the flavor and good balance. The menudo was a little oily but when mixed in it was not to bad .The portion size is a really good size. It comes with the basics as in cilantro onion a side of corn tortillas. I definitely recommend this place not only does this place only have have Menudo but it has other plate options that also look delicious I will be going back soon to try there other plates they have a available.”
