Bought a ps5 controller got insurance on it because they had mention it breaks easily..went back to trade it in an apparently they have a new policy that you can't just change controller with different it has to be the same color... I told my set before purchasing the controller go to Best Buy I should of listened to myself !!! N now I'm driving around to another game stop location just to match the same color smh I do not understand why they are so anal about the color they all break the same! This is why every ones going to Walmart or Best Buy instead honesty

We came into this location to buy a ps4 game tonight at 7:30, and they gave us the ps5 version instead. I believe the employees name was Kevin. We hadn't noticed until we got home when they were already closed, and it's just beyond frustrating. I understand they want to get out of there, but it just causes us to have to go back tomorrow to remedy the issue. Game's are a luxury nowadays, and bringing back something that you've been anticipating for a while just to find you have to take the time and gas to go back tomorrow and that you can't play is a bit heartbreaking. Hopefully they can do something to help fix the situation.

I had pre ordered madden 24 with this GameStop. They even called me a couple days before that they would open up at 9pm for the early release. I show up at 845pm and nobody is there. I stayed until 930pm and nobody showed up. That is not right! Why preorder for the early release to be let down. I better get compensated for wasting my time and gas to go to the store.

They need to update their hours of operation. Went there at 10:15am because yelp said they were open, but upon arrival, GameStop was closed. I waited for about 10 mins and they were still closed. I ended up leaving.

I had the poorest customer service experience from Amanda who, i guess, was the only one tending store today (btwn 12P-1P) I worked in the customer service industry many years and KNOW she doesn't have a shred of customer centricity. My son saved his money from allowance, birthday gifts, and jobs around the house to save enough for a Switch game that was only in stock at this location. I made calls to other locations but they didn't have the game but confirmed the La Habra store would definitely have it. I built up the notion to my boy that if he scraped and saved he can buy a game of his liking. It's a shame that the Anaheim local store had closed down. They had a great staff there. Always took the extra step to satisfy their customers. If they didn't have a game in stock, they always gave us an option to contact us when it did become available Since the location was down the street from my son's school we'd both walk there and get our cardio in They'd greet us w smiles and joyous personalities. But NOT La Habra location. This is the first & last i will ever go there. Before going i called a different location bc la habra was closed the day before and they told me that if we had any old game we weren't using can be used as trade-in discount. Huh .. So we chose some old games he no longer played with bc he's no longer that age. But even though they're old we kept them immaculate, even tho they're copies of original games we purchased at full retail price, we kept in good order w receipts in them. Some of the teade-ins we decided to exchange were the original games w pricing stickers on the jacket that included receipts. When we stepped up to the counter Amanda said that the trade-ins were only a discount of $2.50 (All). WoW! My son must've been in shock bc he didn't say a thing and he's really quite chatty. I can just imagine what was going thru his mind ... all those summers saving up to buy those games, $20-$60. It's an achievement and so proud of him being able to save I suggested ..don't do the exchange and trade them in, as i was consoling my son, i was gonna pay the difference (he didn't know that) When Amanda makes a condescending remark under her breath .."at least, we buy them back" She didn't have to say that, she could have just kept her nasty mouth SHUT During my service in the customer service industry i was taught the golden rule that "CUSTOMERS CAME, FIRST!" (in a business setting) She is so unprofessional, has no sensitivity, no regard .. To top it off .. (i didn't want to include this but im disabled-blind) and it takes us some time to plan a trip to our destinations just to be turned away bc Amanda says .."it's in our system that we have it, but i can't find it" i ask if she can look for it, take the extra step, like most Gamestop employees would do. But she doesn't budge. She keeps saying .."don't know what to tell u" Well, how bout saying .. "i got your contact number and as soon as it's sought, we'll give u a courtesy call" (that's what I would have done to save a sale and make a lasting impression). But, she kept on being rude, disrespectful, and discourteous. I asked for the number to corporate and as always .. don't know it, no business cards, etc Talk bout bad service. I mean if it happened JUST to me, i would've just shined it off. But, not only was she being ill-mannered to me but to my family (14 yo son and aging mother) I need to mellow out this ordeal has my blood boiling. All u parents would have done so much more. If only i wasn't "visually-impaired!!" Sorry guys but i gotta cut out bc it's becoming very emotional .. I have the right mind to contact the Americans w Disability Act for mistreatment.. But, oh well .. Save yourselves a headache, be stress-free and go to other locations where u are treated w respect

Well I have had issues with the the staff before very rude and short with customers..this last time I went in to get a refund in a memory device I purchased was told no refunds even though it was not posted anywhere.. and was told not there problem and to call corporate. And then he walked away.. to be honest I come here because it close to my house but I will never come back to such a rude disrespectful store..

I recently bought a Nintendo Switch game as a Christmas present for my son, and when he opened it there was no cartridge inside of it. I went back to the store and complained about it but the douche bag behind the counter immediately turned me down and let me wait to see if the store manager can do anything about this situation. After waiting for many hours I left the store to later return and to what I almost expected be turned down again and was told to take up with Nintendo which then they answered to go back to this store once more. At the end, this store just robbed me for my money which in reality they can care less.

They always Harrass you into buying something instead of you the customer looking around and they look at you like a criminal fml fam I got my mw2 preorder and they said I can't pick it up till 9pm bunch of s*** GameStop gs Horrible!!!!!!

Workers are very friendly. It's a smaller GameStop so don't expect much of a selection but the collectibles were still worth checking out.
