“Found this place on yelp and wanted to give it a try and am I glad I did. Gustavo greeted me very friendly around 10am and was eager to help me with whatever i needed. The carne asada was some of the best meat i've ever had. Tender and full of flavor this meat melted in your mouth. The salsa roja and rosa chips were beyond delicious as well. Gustavo, I can only imagine your hospitality to regulars who come through but thank you for your hospitality to your new customers as well! Will definitely be coming back for more!”

“This local butcher shop is small but mighty! Besides enjoying their beef/chicken asadas, I've really been blown away by their beef cuts. Fresh produce sometimes available such as avocados which were very good too! After reading reviews I will ask about getting a turkey for November this year. Price is fair for the high quality/service. Can't wait to grill up more stuff!!”
“I bought about 6lbs of marinated galbi (fills a half tray, like half of a full size chafer) for $113. The nice lady gift-wrapped it and put ice packs in it because I had told her it would be. While before I could deliver the gift. I’m so glad to have a Korean meat shop so close to home and with such friendly Customer service! I’ll be back again!”

“After passing by this place quite a few times, thinking it was only a butcher, I finally came to realize they have sandwiches too. However, fair warning, be prepared to take whatever you get to go - there is zero seating, not even a small table in a corner, if you want to eat in.
Decided to try the pastrami - it's their own smoked, thick-sliced, which was pretty good, but if I'm being honest, it was kind of a bit chewy and not near as good as I'd heard. The poblano mustard was a nice, unexpected touch, but quite disappointingly, it was NOT served on a toasted grinder roll, as advertised.
And since it was to go only, I didn't realize until I was later eating that it was plain old marbled bread of some sort - totally different taste and texture than a grinder roll - if they were out, or whatever the reason was, they should've said something before making it - I would have completely passed for that day if I knew it was going to be on bread.
So the service... the two guys working there seem to run the place (one was an owner, I think possibly). The other guy, who finally took my order after passing by me as he was doing other things (I was the only person in the small place) - I finally had to ask if I could order, and he kind of begrudgingly took my order. And it took forever... like close to 20 minutes! I love that they steam the pastrami right then and there, but not sure what took so very long with no one else even there.
The other guy was either the mgr or owner, and was at least a bit more friendly, but seemed completely bothered by my questions about the butcher cuts of meat while I was waiting.
Overall, the sandwich was pretty decent, but not to the level of the many raving reviews here. It was good, even on bread, but the service kind of left a lesser taste in my mouth. Will choose from many other options in the future when I'm around.”

“They’ve been here awhile and are the only Mexican market around here. it’s too bad they don’t offer credit card options. Only cash but still they are friendly and clean place. Very convenient if you forget lemon or onion for dinner. They have drinks and beers as well as selectable meats you may need and if you catch him on a good day he will even make tacos for you.”
“So I rarely leave reviews but felt that this place warranted one. I rarely eat pork if ever maybe once a year, with that said I go next door to this salon place but not for what you think. Was waiting and saw a lot of people coming and going at the meat place "LUPITA'S" next door, I'm always hesitant to try at those places but low and behold my mom who goes to the same beauty place was waiting and grabbed some carnitas and brought me some OMG that carnitas was soooo good, not greasy at all and hardly any fat, well my mom said you have to tell the man no GORDO Lmao. Aye my mom, I don't speak Spanish but I don't think that is the correct term in Spanish for FAT lol. Sooo I do recommend that anyone who is in the area grab carnitas, asada, or chicken. I hear it's all good and they have an "A" rating which is something I look for when buying or eating at an establishment. Ooh ooh forgot they even make food my mom said they make your burritos with fresh meat grab the raw asada and cook it and then make your burrito, yum! Talk about fresh, right!!”

I've been ordering from settlers for a few years now and they've always gotten my order correct never had any issues until this last time I ordered. they did not ship one of my products, I left a message and let them know that they had forgotten one of the items, they could have just sent me what they forgot but they went above and beyond and sent me way more.I am in aww of the customer service. They hands down have the best tasting jerky, and the best customer service! 20/10 recommend.”

The owner is truly a kind and wonderful person who is so passionate about sharing his cultural cuisine! Fear not if you have no idea what you are looking for going in, he will not make you feel dumb or belittle you. He will help you find exactly what you need and give you all kinds of recommendations. Every time we go I come out with something new to try and it is always so good. Plus, he stocks some delightful treats in there as well, like hard to find milka bars. His meat selection is brilliant, it is all raised on his farm! So you know that you are getting the freshest of the fresh and that it is a lot more ethically raised than factory farms.
