Westridge Golf Club is a par 72 course designed by Robert Muir Graves, featuring a challenging layout with over 60 bunkers, numerous water hazards, and sloping greens, fairways, and rough. The course offers an inviting atmosphere and creates a mental and instinctual test for players. Facilities include a great driving range, golf carts, an on-site golf professional, and a fully equipped banquet facility, noted as a most beautiful venue with amazing, pleasant, and helpful staff. However, reviews frequently cite concerns with course conditions and pace of play. Many note the conditions could be better, with fading fairways and greens full of unfixed divots, though the greens are also described as well-maintained for putting. The pace of play is widely criticized as super slow, often reaching five-hour rounds, with management not intervening with slow groups. Tee times are available every eight minutes, which the course cannot handle, especially on weekends. Despite these issues, it is considered a fun course with great views, delicious food at the restaurant, and lots of OB that adds challenge. It is seen as a good last resort with available tee times, possessing potential if conditions and management were improved.
Well it didn't hurt that it was a beautiful day. The course was in great condition. We got off on time and we moved along nicely the whole day.
