“Was suspicious how this was the most highly rated car rental I’ve ever seen — but the reviews are real. Called this Budget day-of on Thursday afternoon and we were told they could provide us an SUV over the phone. When we arrived, they actually gave us a cooler SUV than the one they advertised over the phone, for a cheaper price!!!
This was right after we arrived at San Diego Hertz for a wedding and discovered they didn’t have a car for us!!! Very upsetting. Why was Hertz trying to take our money for a product (the reservation) they did not have???
So not only was the service at Budget great, it was such a relief and they really did — as others will also claim — save our vacation.”
