“We wound up using Enterprise after being screwed over by 2 other companies (Turo and Sixt. Don’t EVER use Sixt! We showed up for our reservation and were told they had NO CARS at all). Tbe people at the Miramar location (especially Isabella) were fantastic. They were very friendly and took great care of us. That experience was so good that I wound up renting from them again just a few weeks later. I have family coming to care for me after a surgery I’m having next month and I’ll be renting a van from these guys because I know I can count on them.”
“We rented a car for Memorial Day weekend and the line was out the door on Saturday morning. Jae Johnson was by himself doing his best to help everyone and get them on the road. There were some customers that were being difficult and very rude, and he remained calm and professional the entire time. I was impressed with his demeanor and composure. You really do have a great asset with him. He was also there when I dropped the car off and again, very efficient in getting me out the door and on with my day.”

“I encountered issues prior to picking up my rental, .. the car class I reserved wasnt immediately available however the staff , Itzel Elizalde kept me apprised of the situation , this starting within the days preceding pick up.. and tho a few hours late, I was able to get the car, and along with that was given unlimited mileage and I believe the car was a nicer trim level than the category I rented. Very happy with the service.. my one week rental turned into a month rental and it was super easy to extend and I was able to get the weekly rate I had originally booked and to keep the same car . Encinitas branch is wonderful.”

“We brought our Mazda in for brakes and a squeaking noise while turning in reverse. Baptist was friendly, seemed genuine and communicated things clearly. They replaced our front brakes and found the squeaking was due to insufficient lubrication of our rear brake pads from the last repair shop. Pricing was excellent and service was fast and friendly. I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I really liked Baptist and this was probably the best experience for a repair shop that I've had before.”

“The four stars are for the wonderful employee's of Hertz;A Shout Out to Zaira, Selena, Nate, and the Oceanside crew for always being wonderful to work with.Hertz is a great budget option for a rental. Lots of options to choose from and friendly employees.They didn't receive a 5-star review because their website and Google list them as having a location at KCRQ. They do not.They DO however deliver and pick-up cars from the businesses there for passengers who fly in and make sure to book with the correct office.I work on this airport and the amount of calls requesting to book a rental with me can reach up to 20 per day.This takes up valuable time and at times hampers day-to-day operations. My workplace also receives calls from their disgruntled customers who are never pleasant, especially if you tell them they've reached the wrong number.If anyone from Hertz reads this then I would recommend that they remove the phone numbers of the businesses on the field from their website where clients book.Instead, have first option be only to select the Airport in general, the next option can be which FBO or Location on the field that they would like to pick up from. Finally, the last option can be to have a BOLDED very noticeable reminder/notice that any rental related questions or concerns or emergency services requests MUST go through HERTZ and not one of the businesses on the field.”

Couple of important notes - pick up times are more limited than larger airports. Check your flight arrival time.
Drops offs can be made anytime using the key drop box. The drop off area is in the lower lot and can be confusing at 5 am! It's a bit of a walk to the terminal from the drop off area but there is a convenient elevator which makes the walk easy.”
“I was in an accident a short while ago, and seeing as I only need a car a day or two a week I've been using rentals until I can decide on a car to lease. I can honestly say that this place is THE BEST rental agency in San Diego. The customer service I receive there is far beyond anywhere else I've used, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. “We had booked a mini van with CBX Budget car rental. On the day of our vacation, after waiting in line for an hour, when we went to pick up the car they did not have the car available. It is unbelievable how the staff was not able to contact the manager to address the issue. We had specifically booked a mini van because my dad is paralyzed and could not get in any other big cars. We had no idea what to do. My family was waiting to go on vacation and we finally called Joe(saw him on google). Joe answered immediately and said he had a mini van available. He saved our vacation plans and the rental process was stress free. Friendly and reliable services.”
“During a two week vacation in Carlsbad we had a VW SUV on hire from LAX. It developed a fault and customer service asked us to swap it at our nearest Budget rental, Palomar McKellan Airport. The manager here, Cindy was extremely helpful and managed to provide a suitable replacement despite her limited vehicle stock. Thank you.”

“This is a nice place! The staff was kind and the price is cheap if you have insurance. (Their insurance is expensive though) This is an independent car rental office that contracts with both Avis & Budget. The cars will be the same for either so pick the best price between the two companies. It's not in the nicest part of town, but the car was clean and didn't smell, the manager gave me options for a few vehicles, and everyone in the office was considerate and kind. I overheard the staff offering to stay late for another customer so he didn't have to pay the fee for an extra day. Hope you give them a chance!
You will need to have a little bit of patience because there's only one or two staff, so come early if you're tight on time.”

“I was the victim of a reckless driver and lost my Toyota Sequoia in a near fatal collision while stopped at a red light, and survived (thank God), and asked the Solana Beach guys for a comparable rental. There wasn’t one immediately available, but they went out of their way to drive a Toyota 4Runner down from Carlsbad (about 20 miles) for me that had just been returned. That made a huge impression on me, and I’m still shaking my head about how good their customer service was for me. Of course the car was in great condition and performed perfectly. I’m super grateful for their care and concern, and highly recommend Enterprise, and especially the Solana Beach location.”
