Pantai Inn is a beautiful, cozy, and peaceful hotel right on the ocean in La Jolla, described as a hidden gem. The views are amazing, perfect, and cannot be beat, especially during sunset from an oceanfront room or balcony where guests can listen to the ocean. The location is close to everything, convenient for walking to the beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, and retail, and is safe to walk at night. The rooms and suites are spacious, lovely, absolutely spotless, very clean, and comfortable with incredibly classy and stylish decorations. Amenities include huge TVs with Netflix, fireplaces, sun rooms, fountains, fully equipped kitchens, and comfortable bedding. The staff is very nice, very friendly and helpful, attentive, and provides superior service and unmatched hospitality. The breakfast is great, really good, and wonderful with so much to choose from, including a typical warm continental breakfast with fresh fruits, served on an outdoor patio. The lobby offers endless supplies of complimentary water, coffee, sodas, and cookies. Some minor issues were noted, including bathroom faucets and shower heads with calcium build-up affecting water flow, occasional loss of hot water, and some personal preferences about furniture firmness. Occasional noise from street activity or nearby construction and landscaping may occur but is often drowned out by fountain white noise. The parking is convenient. Overall, guests frequently state they will definitely return, highly recommend it, and consider it the best vacation spot.
The hotel was beautiful and cozy. The views are amazing during sunset. Close to everything, bars, restaurants, beach. The breakfast is great, so much to choose from?and the staff was very nice. If I ever come back this is where I will book agian. ?

The ocean front suite is amazing! Spacious, clean, lovely. Edwin, the manager, provided superior service to me and my older mother. I’ll be back and will bring others to share this oceanfront experience.
