Sands of La Jolla is a nice place for a stay, located just a block and a half from the shoreline and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The rooms are lovely, clean, modern, and updated, with comfortable beds and pleasant balconies. Some rooms are small but cozy. The hotel features a heated pool that is a highlight, with a perfect temperature. Parking is available. There is no continental breakfast, and shared microwaves are available but not in the rooms. The location is close to the street, which can cause some noise from cars. Overall, it is a very good place with a great rate, meeting expectations for short visits and family trips. Many guests would recommend it and stay again.
The hotel was in a nice area. The rooms were pretty clean with the exception of the floor. The floor was a little bit dirty. I suggest you wear slippers. But overall, it was a nice hotel. I would stay there again.
