“Shout out to Andrea! I stopped in just to see the premium sets and started messing around with the mini figures, soon realizing I could make a Dia de los Muertos lady! While looking for the parts to make a man I realized they locked the doors for closing. Turns out the mini figs only sell as a set so instead of selling me the single for $10 she helped me past closing find parts to build a man and make a set. She was very kind and needs a raise/promotion asap.”
“Store could be a little nicer inside but has actually pretty fair prices, especially for the figurines. They're roughly the same as what you can get online, and if you factor in shipping, they're often a bit cheaper. Nice place for any hobbyists :)”

“I love this place! I often find great deals and plenty of fun items related to my interests. The deals on stickers are crazy good, and they recently began selling sticker sheets that are perfect for my collaging. Replay toys has merchandise and toys for children and adults alike, from Star Wars to Legos to anime and LPS. Really, the amount of different things offered for reasonable prices is insane. I bought a brand-new Draculaura doll for $5 less than the usual price. You can even buy handmade jewelry and croc charms! Not to mention the point system designed to earn you lots of cash off. Either way, I highly recommend paying this place a visit!”
“The UTC LEGO Store is easily the best LEGO location in San Diego. The staff is consistently friendly, patient and genuinely helpful every time I visit. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and it makes the whole experience feel welcoming.
They also take great care of the Pick A Brick wall. It is well stocked, well organized and clearly maintained with attention. It sounds simple, but seeing a store keep tabs on the Pick A Brick section actually feels wholesome and shows real pride in their work.
The store is always clean, well arranged and easy to browse. Whether I am looking for a specific set or just stopping by to see what is new, this shop always makes the visit worth it.
I really love this store. It is the one LEGO location in San Diego I can always count on for a positive experience. The difference here is that the staff are naturally engaging and easy to talk to. It makes a world of difference compared to other Lego stores in the area that are not as good. Whatever they’re doing here is good work.”

“I was in the area for a work conference the week before Christmas. I stopped to buy a souvenir from this adorable shop. I asked for directions to another shop and walked out. I left my debit card there. The amazing clerk chased me to the next store to make sure I had it.I was so grateful! Losing a card in general sucks. Losing it while traveling is terrible. Losing it just before Christmas is the worst possible scenario. I’m so thankful that she went out of her way to find me and hand it back. That’s customer service that is above and beyond.”

“Found this sweet hidden gem while exploring the streets of San Diego in Seaport Village! Cute interior and exterior. They have such an array of sweets and chocolates like their wall of gummy bears of different flavors. This place locked a lot of memories from childhood sweets. I ended up getting a Twix ice cream bar since it's a warm day in San Diego and I was craving something extra sweet. It was a great purchase that hit the spot with speedy service. Definitely come by if you have a sweet tooth craving.”
“I have been a teacher for 7 years, and today I decided to go to Lakeshore (the last time I visited this store was about 10 years ago). I walked out of there MIND BLOWN! The back to school sales are INSANE, and just EVERYTHING is quality material! The workers were constantly checking in with me and also offering to go check the back for more supplies! I feel like I have missed out for years now! They truly have the best selection and can't beat the prices for the amount/bulk they sell! I walked out of there with the best deals and the best items to set me up for the year!”

“One of the sweetest, most wonderful shops in South Park, San Diego. So many cute books and gifts and their child section is so precious! We had purchased a little wooden picnic set and upon coming home and opening, realized the handle from the basket was missing. The ladies at the Gold Leaf were so accommodating and mailed us the replacement handle the next week. Amazing customer service and can't wait to visit again!”
“Came here for my 2 year old's first hair cut and was very happy with the experience. My 4 year old also got her haircut and still asks to go back. They had movies/ tv shows playing which distracted the kids from any kind of fear. Appreciated the play area while my other daughter waited. Staff was friendly and kind. I will return here for my children's next haircut!”
“Geppetto's is a great toy store located in Fashion Valley plaza. It is a vintage looking boutique toy store. They have such an amazing collection of toys, puzzles and board games, craft and dolls. “My fiancé and I went to this location to make a bear for our “Flower Grammy” proposal box for his grandmother (who we are asking to be our flower girl) and had the best time! All staff members were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We each hadn’t built a bear in over 15 years and this time felt just as magical as ever. “I found a retro hoodie that I loved! It was the last one and it was my size. Took it, and a couple other items, to the register to pay. When he tried to find the tag it wasn’t there. He tried to find another size on the rack and in the back. Turns out this was the last one in the entire park. He went to get a manager and while waiting searched the system to see if he could find it. After a lengthy wait the manager came out and after explaining the situation apologized for making me wait so long and rang it up under a hoodie that was the same brand, but at half the price. I was a little upset about the long wait, but they were both very apologetic and they made it right by giving me a huge discount.”

Yesterday I purchased sunblock lotion and the squeeze button on top stopped working within a few minutes after purchase; so I brought it back to see if Kyle could get it to work. Kyle could not get it working either, and so I purchased a different brand bottle that happened to be $2 less expensive, and even though I told him to keep the change especially since he was giving me the other bottle for free in the case I got it working, he still gave me the $2 in cash difference.Kyle and Dave convey a strong sense of community with others. This famous “toy”/ blind boxes store is home to the viral “Labubus”.
Forewarning before coming: if you’re looking for a labubu or new drops download the “Popmart” app and look at the Store Pick up Option. This will save you time to buy, or know when the new drops come out. Most of their popular items would not be in store and purchased this way ONLY.
Other than that, everything is highly organized and easy to look around to see what cute things you could get for yourself or a gift. It may be small, but it’s worth it to see what any item looks like in person.

“First time at Geppetto's toy store in La Jolla. What a find on Yelp! We stopped in to get gifts for the grandkids but I found quite a few things that I wanted. Geppetto's had games, toys, fidgets, gadgets, plushies, dolls, and everything else that a little toy maker could imagine. We bought a travel game for the grandkids called Guess Who. We also got some stocking stuffers for future use. Really had a good time perusing all of the toys.”
