“I've lived in Southern CA for about 5 years and stumbled upon Replay Toys in San Diego when I came to visit the first time about 4-5 years ago and now it is a must every time I drive down to San Diego to visit. The staff is always so welcoming (even with dogs!) and helpful and the nostalgia cannot be beat. I always find something unique or a Pokemon collectible that I cannot find anywhere else and walk out super happy.”

“Great store with a wide varity of HG, RG, MG, and even some PG Gundams. Several stands for 1/100 and 1/144 scale. Some basic tools to include entry grade zippers, professional Godhands nippers, masking tapes, sanding sponges, and other tools. Some paint options as well. They also offer a points reward system. The street the building is located on is very busy on the weekends and closed off. Parking might be a bit difficult. Overall location, variety, atmosphere, and staff friendliness makes this great location for most your Gundam needs in the San Diego area!”

The owner was extremely friendly and showed excellent customer service, they pulled a used set so my kid could closely examine a set. While parking is tough, the store is definitely worth the visit. “It’s huge and definitely busy, but not overwhelmingly crowded, which makes for a really pleasant experience. I stopped by the café inside and ordered a latte along with the lemon loaf, which was labeled as the barista’s favorite and it did not disappoint. Both were delicious.
They also offer a variety of drinks and sandwiches, giving you plenty of options. The staff was very friendly, which added to the overall positive vibe. It’s an easy place to spend an hour or more just walking around, and it can also be a great spot to study or get some work done, though it may get busier at times. I’d highly recommend checking this place out.”
“Kiddo is into Manga... as us OGs know this can be a minefield. Staff was SUPER SUPER helpful in steering away from the more explicit content variety.... B&N actually wraps the individual book so that kiddos can't thumb thru it.
Store is clean... a bit small from what I'm used to... selection is still good... has all the same areas just fewer options (but still good). Plenty of parking if you're ok with walking.”

“This is one Lego store that isn't super far away, has lots of options inside and lots to do all in the same area. Not too many store options anymore it feels like. We chose this one of 4 options and 2 options were part of the Lego theme park which requires a few more steps jus to go inside. Fashion Valley store is inside the mall right next to food options. We made a day of it though our aim was to crab ourselves a few Lego sets if the prices were reasonable which they were. Lots of different sets and price ranges even though the store wasn't too big. Amazon has the same options for about the same price believe it or not but here, you get you Lego points which eventually lead to a free set. The size of the store was jus right and to the point with helpful staff as an option if you need it. They welcome you and ask if you need the assistance either way which kinda breaks the ice n ends the struggle if say you're looking for something in particular. We left with about 5 sets ranging from $10 to $70. Didn't break the wallet and have hours of fun ahead. Great Lego store”

“I recently took my nephew to this toy store and honestly had a really nice experience. The selection was bigger than I expected, with toys for different age groups and interests. The staff were friendly and gave us a few good suggestions without being pushy. Everything was organized well, so it was easy to look around and find what we needed. My nephew got excited the moment we walked in and ended up finding a toy he hasn't put down since. Prices seemed fair too. Definetly a place I'd come back to when shopping for gifts or special occasions.”

“I'm so happy I went in to Gepetto's for a gift today. I called ahead and the employee was very helpful, when I arrived to the store I made my purchase and even had it gift wrapped. I live nearby but was concerned about parking, luckily there was a 30 minute spot available in the parking lot closest to the store. This Gepetto's will be my new stop for toys & gifts.”

“We highly recommend Little Locks! They are so good with my 6 year old son and 4 year daughter! We have a good experience every time due to the patient and kind staff. Also lots of cool cars to sit in when kids get haircut and shoes to watch. Great choice of toys to choose from after haircut. They offer street and back lot parking lot.”

“Used to frequent the location in 4S before they became a boxing gym. This location is always busy and has all the toys a child can imagine and more. It's easy to get in and out from and items are reasonably priced. This time around my son wanted a police car. How fitting was it that they charged $5.0 for it!? Lol Be back soon when I'm in the area.”

“I found a retro hoodie that I loved! It was the last one and it was my size. Took it, and a couple other items, to the register to pay. When he tried to find the tag it wasn’t there. He tried to find another size on the rack and in the back. Turns out this was the last one in the entire park. He went to get a manager and while waiting searched the system to see if he could find it. After a lengthy wait the manager came out and after explaining the situation apologized for making me wait so long and rang it up under a hoodie that was the same brand, but at half the price. I was a little upset about the long wait, but they were both very apologetic and they made it right by giving me a huge discount.”
“While visiting San Diego, California with my son, we had the pleasure of coordinating a visit to the EZ Toy Store, where he enjoyed an amazing shopping experience. “I was in town with family and ended up checking out this souvenir shop before heading back home. The place had a nice mix of items instead of the same generic stuff you see everywhere. I found a couple magnets and a small gift for my niece that she actually got excited about. Prices seemed pretty fair and I didnt feel pushed into buying anything. The staff was friendly and gave us some suggestions when we asked about local themed items. Store felt clean and easy to walk around too. Def one of the better souvenir places I've been in lately.”
