“Very nice little thrift store. I stopped in for the first time earlier today. They had a really interesting collection of CDs, and I picked up a few. I got a great deal on them since they offer them buy one get one free. They also had some sewing patterns in the back of the store. I came close to buying one or two of those but the ones they had weren’t quite what I needed. The staff seemed quite friendly as well. I’m sure I will be back in here from time to time when I’m in the area.”

“This place is so cool!! It houses ill and injured soldiers who are being released from active duty due to various circumstances. Each warrior gets a cottage to call home. They are given the ability to get enrolled in college or a tradeschool,to play wheelchair basketball as well as hunt and fish. they are close enough to Balboa Naval hosp so they can get to and from appointments, they are mentored and guided all along the way! What a great way to honor those who put themselves out there in harms way. This organization also takes no government funding. everything is donor funded as well as lots of fundraising. They have an amazing volunteer force that gives of their time and knowledge to achieve goals. They are getting ready to launch Freedom Station 3 in August of 2024. This is just incredible!!!”

From discussing topics with the students, taking creativity workshops and participating in the classes and events, I am gathering tools and experiences that help me to grow and hopefully help in creating a better Earth for us all. I think the creativity workshops are probably the best way to visit especially if you can tie it with a tour. It would be a great first introduction. Besides the workshops, I really love the Crystal Flame Ceremony in December. My first actual visit (I've been aware of Unarius for years) was a visit during business hours. We spent an hour talking with Billie who has painted some of the most well known paintings of Unarius. Each time I visit now I can feel the positive energy and excitement building. Stop in and ask questions. They are always willing to talk. There are a ton of books and dvds and everyone's favorite, the starship pin!”

“Great place with a more local hole in the wall vibe. You do need a membership or be a guest of a member to patron. The members are of all ages and are all good people. Drink prices are very reasonable and the bartenders are very nice. I recommend Kat's Tuesday night tacos, for only 8 bucks you get two good size tacos, chips, refried beans and a dessert. The eagles are a nonprofit, your membership money and donations go towards helping organizations and others in need. Being an Eagle is very special and it shows in the members. I 100% recommend.”
