“I just got back from the 3 day intensive Academy. I have nothing but really positive things to say about my time there, the materials presented and most importantly, the people. The extremely high level of quality found in not only the presenters but also in the AICTP staff and fellow attendees went far beyond my expectations. I feel like I am set up for absolute success and I see a clear pathway forward. Thank you all so much.”

“Hammond’s management of the Solar Moonshot grant made Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue’s application experience and receipt of the grant a delight. Our liaison, Maya, always responded promptly and with specific descriptions of needed follow up information. Our interview was a true conversation and instrumental in informing our grant submission. Grant funds were transferred quickly and the entire process, from application to award, was astonishingly fast. Thank you Maya and Hammond!”

“I had an amazing experience working with Juliet at Accessity. From start to finish, she made the entire process feel smooth, clear, and stress-free. She took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, answered all of my questions with patience, and truly made me feel supported every step of the way.

What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared—not just about getting things done, but about helping me succeed. Because of her guidance and dedication, I was able to move forward with my business and accomplish something that truly means a lot to me.

If you have the chance to work with Juliet, you’re in great hands. She goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for her support. Highly recommend!”

“Stmbled upon what appeared to be an injured/weak hawk in our parking lot. This was just prior to dusk. We made it to the San Diego Project Wildlife office before they closed. Very thankful that there is a place where they can evaluate and treat these precious animals.”

“This is the best sandal shop in Southern California. With a relaxed vibe you will be greeted by the owner, Randall, and he will guide you on your journey through all the types of footwear sandals encompass. The collection of sandals in inventory is impressive. If you can’t find it here you probably weren’t looking for sandals.”

“Worked with 2nd Chance when I was searching for my current dog. They were responsive and helpful. Really liked going to their events and connecting with foster families about potential dogs to adopt. I did not find my forever pooch with them, but it was not their fault in any way! If the right dog had been there, I would have moved forward happily.”

“I love being part of the North San Diego Business Chamber. The leadership is powerful and caring, the events are frequent, professional, and well attended, and the members are helpful and great to do business with. Highly recommended.”

“The Mission Beach Women's Club is a cool spot for an event. I recently visited it for a 60th anniversary part.

The place was well organized, clean, and had a great patio outside, in addition to the inside seating. The place offers a kitchen and restrooms. I liked that there were plenty of electrical outlets around the building.

The only downfall that I can think of would be the ease of finding parking. Most park at Santa Clara Point.”

“FACE saved our lives.
We had the most terrifying and unexpected experience with our cat this Saturday. We discovered he had a feline urethral obstruction. We had no way of getting him the care he needed, and I was ready to watch him pass away, but FACE gave us hope!
Thank you so much for giving us the grant that helped save my baby's life!
My baby's name is Tiny, and we will be forever grateful for everything they have done for us.”

“The church itself is truly wonderful. I’ve been part of this community my entire life, and it’s always felt like home. I may be a little biased, but the people here are kind, welcoming, and come from many different cultural backgrounds. Holy Family offers English Mass at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and Spanish Mass at 12:00 PM. Occasionally, a bishop leads the service, which is always a special experience. Father Peter is a warm and caring priest who, along with the rest of the community, makes everyone feel valued and included. I hope anyone who visits feels the same sense of belonging and peace that I’ve experienced over the years.”

“I used to live in the apartment complex directly next to Home Start. The first time I noticed this store was Halloween 2018, a few hrs. before a last minute puppy Halloween party.
Not only did I find the CUTEST mermaid costume I’ve ever seen… but it was a complete set & not just random pieces of clothing someone decided to donate last minute vs. throw away.
Amongst that I found a gigantic stack of my favorite designer jeans— not only in my size, but in a plethora of styles (not just straight leg)…. Oh, & I usually pay about $200 retail for these jeans but every single pair i purchased that day & so on, we’re $4.
The women working here are so amazing & they really care & look out for their clients best interests.

I did unfortunately move but I always come back once a month for bag day! ?”

“I see bad reviews for this place and I disagree, staff was fantastic. Your kids get back what they put in. Excellent place for learning very basic introductory skills on business. It's not meant to be anything more than the basics. There are never enough volunteers for field trips like this but the staff did a great job filling in. Teachers have a lot of responsibility in the planning for this type of experience.”

“Love the place. They offer ice skating lessons for both kids and adults. After our first visit, I signed my son up for a class, 12 lessons and 12 guest passes for $288. I have recommended the class to several friends. They all signed up immediately. My son and I very much look forward to more skating fun.”

“The fleet science center was so much fun for all of us. There are two floors filled with brain teasers, and educational fun that kept our 8 year old interested in exploring. His favorite part was the oversized ball pit of course. We enjoyed watching him run from section to section excited about what he read or attempted to do. We spent approximately 1.5 to 2 hours within the facility before we were ready to eat and exit. As we headed to the exit we saw many people lined up for the IMAC theater something we are planning to check out next time. We purchased slushies and popcorn, and paid $5 to experience the wind tunnel, before exiting to watch the waterfall right next to the History museum. It was a beautiful day and money well spent.”

“Joining IADAC was single handedly the best thing I've done as a new dealer. The help provided, and amazing perks are worth the membership and then some! I didn't know how much I didn't know, until they helped educate me. I'm constantly asking for help and advice and they are very willing to help.”

“If you are looking for a great community concert series, with music crossing multiple genres, and musicians from all ages and backgrounds, come to Apt 4 Music's First Friday performance venue. It takes place the first Friday of each month, from September to June, at 4:30 p.m. at the Apt 4 Music Studio.

The younger musicians usually perform first with adults appearing a bit later in the show. The musicians are all talented and it is a great opportunity to hear genres of music you may not be familiar with. From classical to heavy metal music, there is something for everyone. All the student musicians preform as part of their training. Guaranteed to be a great evening!”
