“I had an infection under a root canal that had become so painful I had to go to urgent care. I set up a reservation the night before and was able to fill out the paperwork online before arriving. The wait was 30 minutes. The doctor, though not a dentist, was able to confirm the infection and prescribed me antibiotics, which immediately reduced the pain. I'm thankful for her and the whole staff here.”

“Quick service for my strep throat. Very friendly staff. Would definitely return.A little difficult for me to find is only reason knocking off a star. Especially in terms of parking. Recommend calling ahead for anyone because they have a lot somewhere where they reimburse. I paid for a lot across the street. My fault for that though.”
“My first time here but had a good experience! Had to wait about a month for my appointment but it wasn’t an urgent matter. Short wait time and everyone I encountered was very kind and helpful :) the staff seems happy to work here which makes all the difference!! & they have a playground in the front for the kiddos which is super cool, daddy can watch them play while mommy goes to her appointment! Sometimes the low income health centers suck , this one exceeded my expectations”

“My children have been patients here since 2016. The staff is so kind, friendly, efficient and helpful. We loved our previous pediatrician, and we just had our first check-up with our new one, Dr Craig. She is very thorough, kind and knowledgeable. My daughter has special needs, and Dr Craig needed no education on her condition or the recommended guidelines. The lab staff is also great working with little ones. Very happy to have quality medical care here in East County.”
“I recommend this clinic for all college students. It's very clean and professional looking. My daughter was seen in less than 10 minutes. The woman at the front desk was really fast and efficient. We are here for allergy issues but the staff asked if my daughter was up on her vaccinations for SDSU and we forgot. So we were able to take care of that also during our visit. They are open till 8pm and I wasn't able to get my daughter till after 6pm. We are so grateful for such a wonderful clinic and it is less than 10 minutes away from campus!”
“I’ve been extremely happy with them. Very fast service, their doctors and nurses spend more time with me than anyone in my life, the doctors give sound advice, the check in staff is very nice.
My doctor’s team is AMAZING, I’m extremely happy with them but recently had an insurance issue where multiple times the staff didn’t enter my information correctly, like, how do you even manage to look at the card, make a copy of said card, yet STILL not have it right? Literally over 5 times in a row, right after a surgery. I had to cancel my PT because they said my insurance lapsed (it literally never has), I had to call the insurance company and have them handle it on three way because it kept happening over and over and over again. It’s been alright since then though.
The lab staff aren’t great. Kind of nonchalant, a little rude and not gentle.”
“I had to change health insurance because I was laid off my job, which is how I ended up going to this medical office. Not going to lie, I was really apprehensive about going here, because I read up on so many reviews about San Ysidro Health and a couple of their locations. To be completely honest, I think I lucked out and ended up with a wonderful Doctor and had a pleasant experience with her, and the rest of the staff here.The reason I went in for an appointment was to establish care with a new PCP bc my former one did accept the new insurance I was on. The nurse who took me into the room, assessed me and took my vital was so kind and thorough. Dr. Jacqueline Guerra was so nice, so kind, extremely thorough, was open to any questions, and most importantly, listened and took note of everything I had concerns about. She sent me get lab work done, after my appointment and I’m now awaiting for our follow-up appointment this week. So far, my experience has been a great one and can’t wait to continue working with Dr. Guerra.”
