“Dropped in today to ask if they can help fix my G19.3 that I misaligned after cleaning. After hilariously going back and forth about how I admittedly “effed up” badly, they ended up finding a way to fix it and in the end…. Didn’t charge me. At that point I knew I found my new LGS. Yeah, it was 10 min worth of work but they easily could’ve charged me $50+ for that especially how tough times are today. The margins for LGS’ are thin so this means a lot. I voluntarily bought 4 boxes of 9mm to support as they really wouldn’t let me pay. These guys (I believe Cory and Gary) gained a new customer for good. They’re truly there to help and have superb customer service which is a hit and miss in this niche I know. I’ll easily drive an extra 20 min next time. “I truly appreciate the folks from Firearms Unknown. My husband wanted to get me a gun for my birthday which meant having to retake the FSC test again (the last time I took it was at a gun show how many years back).
When it was time to review, Laurie not only went through the answers with me, but she helped me understand which questions I got wrong and what my thought process was, walked me through picking my first gun, and went over all the safety with me (which is what all the staff do very well). I mention this albeit very obvious because Laurie made me feel confident as a new gun owner, and as a mom wanting to protect my little one. She is extremely personable and highly knowledgeable, with a passion to ensure that everyone that comes through their doors can walk out with a better appreciation for firearms.
All this to say, this will now be my go-to spot for all my firearm needs, thanks to Laurie and the team!”

“I have done multiple transfers with Don and his wife over the years. Other shops in the county don't compare to the service and value you get with Don. I was once an FFL myself in California, and really feel for these people as I understand how they are constantly and continually harassed and abused by our State's communist regime. Residents of the county need to support local FFL's because if we don't eventually we will have a corporate dominated retail gun industry in California that will be in a position to dictate pricing.”

“Great experience here. Pawn shops are one of my favorite places to buy things. They are always full of randomness treasures and deals. Some more than others . This one is solid. Knowledgeable friendly staff. I looked at guitars and guns. Decent selection of both here. Weren’t that quick to negotiate their price which I understand, but still got an okay deal on a Mexican Strat with a lot of Vibe. :D”

“First went in to the range to try it out, after 30 minutes there knew i wanted to sign up for membership. Have gone to the Santee location every week since at least once a week. Also purchased another pistol there from them along with ammo and bags there. Always have had a good experience, always been helped out as soon as I go in and gotten great advice from them. When I had an issue with my firearm feeding through they were right there to help out and continued following up with me on it to make sure it was fine and we're ready to help do anything needed to fix it. Appreciate all the help and support from them so far and always enjoy getting into the range there!”
“Customer service second to NONE! I called ahead and spoke with Eryk regarding a specific pistol. He was upfront and honest and very helpful. when I came into the store to look at the weapon, he was even more helpful. He gave me info and even further proof that I was purchasing quality, he showed me it was his weapon of choice for daily carry. Most guns stores have the "holier than thou" attitudes however, both Eryk and Zane were super knowledgeable of the current laws in CA and answered all questions regarding changes to the current laws (restrictions/bans/etc.) which made me, the customer feel right at home. Purpose: I was there to buy a gun. they could have easily just started the DOJ/CA background check/etc taken my money and sent me on my way, but they went out of their way to assist, answering other questions regarding AR's and pistols. Additionally, they showed me potential upgrades to the weapon I was purchasing and gave me the pros and cons of certain brands. Where most gun stores/dealers would gladly have you buy extra junk or parts you don't need or want, they gave me honest opinions even if it didn't benefit them. I was thankful for their customer service, and because of that I am a future customer.”
