Went in to buy a new iPhone. Think that would be pretty cut and dry. Not walking in there to look or browse. Couldn't be a more easy sale. Beyond poor customer service. Girl seemed miserable and didn't want to be there. Got my phone wrong and was in a hurry to just done with the transaction. Will be switching to T-Mobile. Verizon is not the same as it used to be, especially for the price. Lost another customer.

Update: My issue was resolved, though it took a few days and a few conversations with Verizon chat agents to accomplish. All told, I've been very happy with Verizon for reception and customer service. The hassle of spending a few hours fixing my bill pales in comparison to the $1660 in trade in credit I was able to recoup.

The manager guy was excellent but every other employee there acted as though every customer seeking assistance were terribly burdensome. They answered questions in a condescending manner and were almost acting out the role of the stereotypic tech nerds. It was painful trying to get anyone to answer questions. You almost wanted to say, "I'm so sorry to bother you...". Then as we walked out, another lady leaving at the same time said, "Geeze! Could they be any less helpful?" We all laughed in agreement. It was not a pleasant experience.

4 employees talking on the front door I was standing there Trying to buy 3 new iPhones no one help us I asked 2 they say busy I wonder way ? I really need to buy phones as gift to my family for Christmas ? today is Christmas eave they close early every where very bad

Purchased new cel, watch and iPad from Verizon factory store in Santee from a lying representative McKenna. She gave me her business cell number if I had any problems. I called her over 20 times with no answer. New cell phone arrived by mail and followed the instructions to transfer all of my info to the new cell phone. Only the contacts transferred over. Non of my apps or personal info was transferred. Was on phone with Verizon until they gave up and sent me to apple support. Worked with them for hours until they said they thought the new cel was defective and to return to the Verizon store in Santee. Spend hours with them today and received no help. Now I have 2 iPhones. The new one has my number and the old one has all of my personal info and nobody knows what to do. Verizon just doesn't care!

12/30/23 horrible unprofessional service got off work and was there at 7:30. Nobody attended us for 10 minutes only to be told we're about to close in 20 minutes to come back tomorrow. Very unprofessional very lazy attitude horrible location recommend any other place than this one..

These people will lie to you to get you to buy a phone. I was very specific in asking when I got a new phone. I asked the salesperson if I trade in my old phone with a ($700 credit) and pay the rest off now if I would own the phone outright because I did not want it on my bill. She said yes multiple times. I couple months later I see that is not the case it is on my bill. I am not paying extra but what they will not and didn’t tell me is that when you trade the phone in it will lock you into your account for the next three years so you can not make any changes unless you pay the $700. So now they have my old phone and want me to pay off the credit in order to make any changes. We have been customers for 20 years and the amount they actually care about their customers and how they lie is ridiculous. All they care about is making their commission goals not about the actual person that is involved with them. Just disappointed that’s how business is now

I went to pickup a phone I’d ordered thru the app (it’s been years since I was last in a phone store). I checked in & the polite young lady pointed & told me Jessica would help me when she was available.I thanked her & wandered the store looking at items. I noticed there were some employees who were not with customers, but Jessica was still, so I continued wandering. After about 10mins I went back & asked the girl who checked me in if Jessica was the one I had to see for my transaction type, or if I could see one of the others who were available. She said she was new & would ask.Jessica overhears & looks over at me with this nasty glare. She scolds me loudly and tells me how other customers have waited & there is a process, that when someone is available I will be seen. Overhearing this, a not-busy gentleman employee comes up to offer assistance immediately. The same guy I had asked about phone cases who ‘wasn’t busy’ in the rear area.Lady, you are one very rude & snotty Karen. Even the man you were assisting felt uncomfortable with your rudeness and apologized to me behind your back. I’m not familiar with the “process” you follow, which is why I came back and asked after being quite patient. Behavior like yours doesn’t belong in a customer oriented business, regardless if you’re having a bad day. Or month. Grow up.Thank you to the employee who came to assist & stopped Jessica’s angry rant. He was friendly & it took literally 2 minutes for him to get my phone & have me gone. You are the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.It’s ironic that we chose Verizon primarily because they are known for their excellent customer service. I guess that doesn’t apply to the stores.

Went back twice to upgrade my phone. First time he told me it would be $7 additional per month with my trade in. Looked at my account and went back and someone else told me it would be $17 more. Looked at my bill and it was $60 more. Called Verizon and they had upgraded my plan without telling me, without even discussing plans, or me consenting to. Horrible business ethics and employees that are no where near trained.

If I could give zero. I would. They charged my husband 65 dollars for a plastic cover for his iPhone 13. On him. That he did not pay attention to the purchase. When he saw the charge, went back up to them and they said it was already done and wouldn't give him a refund. They gave him some BS about it being lifetime warranty and that all the other plastic covers are on sale were not backed by Verizon, that a good plastic cover does cost $65 or more, very unprofessional and unethical. Very unhappy customers, and will never go back to the store. be aware of what they sell you and the price. When you're in there they talk a lot and very friendly, which I feel is part of their sneaky sale strategy. So now we have a $65 plastic cover for an iPhone and it doesn't even have gold on it. A huge rip off. They are a bunch of bandits.

If I could rate this less than 1 star, I would. Terrible service, unhelpful staff. I was mislead and lied to for over an hour by two separate employees. Phone calls don't work, being in person doesn't work. Awful company and practices.I can't wait until I get an automated response to this review, and hear how sorry the Verizon robot is to hear this...

Worst worst worst --most horrific experience ever. I got charged for a phone I never even had for 6 months. They were billing me twice for 1 phone on both my Verizon credit card and on my debt card. Two bills for the same phone.!!!! It's not the people at the stores fault it's all the idiots we call on the phone for customer service ...they keep saying they cancelled my phone that I haven't had for 6 months but they won't.. (don't know how?) now I just got an email that says your service might be interrupted because you didn't pay your bill... well thank goodness -- haven't had the phone for 9 Months!!! As for the double billing on the other phone they can't seem to figure that out even though they said they did.. going to try t- mobile or anything else -- they will never ever be able to figure it out at Verizon.. just cancelled all 3 phones -- let's see how many more bills I continue to get-- idiots!!! Will never ever is this idiotic company!!!
