“So I rarely leave reviews but felt that this place warranted one. I rarely eat pork if ever maybe once a year, with that said I go next door to this salon place but not for what you think. Was waiting and saw a lot of people coming and going at the meat place "LUPITA'S" next door, I'm always hesitant to try at those places but low and behold my mom who goes to the same beauty place was waiting and grabbed some carnitas and brought me some OMG that carnitas was soooo good, not greasy at all and hardly any fat, well my mom said you have to tell the man no GORDO Lmao. Aye my mom, I don't speak Spanish but I don't think that is the correct term in Spanish for FAT lol. Sooo I do recommend that anyone who is in the area grab carnitas, asada, or chicken. I hear it's all good and they have an "A" rating which is something I look for when buying or eating at an establishment. Ooh ooh forgot they even make food my mom said they make your burritos with fresh meat grab the raw asada and cook it and then make your burrito, yum! Talk about fresh, right!!”
“Clean store and great prices. My only gripe here is that every time I go, there's only one checkout lane open forming a big line. So odds are even if you're there to buy one or a few things, you're gonna be waiting a bit.”

“I don't know what all these bad reviews are for. The minute you walk in you see the entire production line in front of your eyes--huge volumes nixtamalized corn being freshly ground, tortillas being shaped and cooked. The smell of fresh tortillas fills the air. It's really quite amazing. And yes, their masa is absolutely delicious.”
“I like to cash my checks there. Fees are reasonable and staff is quick, knowledgeable and super friendly. The market's prices are way too high for me, although, occasionally, I will buy their Los Altos brand queso fresco--I have a weakness for this delicious cheese. Exquisite!”
“The food here is good. The prices of the most of foods are cheaper than the nearby markets. The veggies, fruits and grains are fresher than some markets as well. The most important things is the workers here (seemed to me) are very nice, friendly and happy working here. They great and chat with customers you with positive attitudes.”

“I ordered my daughter’s mermaid birthday cake from here and it came out so cute and delicious! For $35, you honestly can’t find a better deal anywhere. I added my own decorations from Amazon to match her theme and it turned out perfect.

....don't tell anyone. The prices are great. They're low prices. The food quality is good. The store is clean. There's plenty of selection. There's hardly ever a checkout line here. Whatever they do to keep prices low, I hope they keep doing it.
Update 2026: this local Walmart is a gem. It has the same food you'd find at a Super Walmart but in a smaller space.”
