Our contractor, who has worked with Nextar for over 20 years, brought us here. Over the course of a year planning our long-anticipated kitchen renovation, we practiced due diligence and researched at least a dozen places. This type of business basically no longer exists in our day and age, but Nextar is a true hidden gem!

From the owners and management, to their designers, to their support staff, everyone here is down-to-earth, super competent, and hard-working. They truly aim to earn customer loyalty instead of doing the least possible for the quickest buck. From start to finish, you get exactly what they tell you—no shady sales tactics, no gimmicks, no last-minute markups or surprise fees. Aiden was our fantastic designer, who is also bilingual Korean. It was our first time doing a kitchen renovation, and he was so patient and informative with every aspect of helping us manifest our vision into reality. We had many questions and went through multiple changes as we got closer to our project, but he remained super precise, focused, and patient through it all. He always provided insightful feedback to make our kitchen design truly perfect, balancing aesthetic and functionality for us with engineering considerations from his end. We also consulted with Erin on occasion when Aiden was not in. She is so easy to work with, has excellent taste, is super knowledgeable, and makes very helpful suggestions!

We got the Light Oak Shaker cabinets, newly introduced to their collection in 2025, paired with the same bronze handles they have on their lovely showroom display. These “modernized classic” style cabinets were the perfect update which still matched our traditional woody home. Other places with more traditional wooden styles were a little too outdated looking, and extremely expensive for real wood. These cabinets blend real wood with lighter elements for a truly wooded feel and aesthetic, while maintaining their ready-to-assemble format and affordability.

When we finally arrived at our project date and paid for our materials in July of '25, NOTHING in stock had been marked up even one cent! But when we went to pay for our counters and floors that same week, those other businesses had preemptively marked up all of their in-stock materials 30%-40% due to the tariffs, which were still not officially in effect yet. Nextar’s business integrity saved us from completely breaking our planned budget. I believe this incredible level of loyalty to their customers is a huge factor in why they have continued to thrive through the inevitable hardships of the economy and business world.

The quality and design of Nextar's beautiful cabinets and handles elevated our entire kitchen far beyond what we might have gotten anywhere else, especially at the amazing price we paid. Our family feels like we are living in a cozy yet modern alpine resort somewhere in Canada every time we walk into our kitchen now!

“Got our quartz here, plenty of choices and they have some designs I don't normally see anywhere like Bellingham FUSION so that's what I chose. It perfectly blends with aesthetics of our home. Everyone here is accommodating and AJ was able to hold our order as long as we needed since it took us time to decide on backsplash. They recommended VICTOR as installer and we are happy with the result, he helped us meet our labor budget and he didn't mind working even when it's raining just so he can finish on time. He even saved us delivery fee for those big slabs since he volunteered to pick them up from the store to our home. We initially stumbled onto Frontier Cabinets with a google search, looking for an alternative to big box, prefab options for our kitchen remodel. After visiting their showroom, talking with Cindy (our project manager) and then getting a clear and very fair estimate, we signed on for custom cabinetry.
As I had a design layout in mind from the beginning, I didn’t start from scratch with the design team. But they mocked up my ideas in detail and then worked with me to clarify and refine the final design. Communication was great throughout the entire process. The timeline was clearly delineated early on and remained on schedule. Any questions or concerns were answered quickly and clearly. The installation process was smooth and we’re extremely pleased with the high quality of workmanship.

“We did a full home renovation a little over a year ago, but I accidentally forgot about this place and decided to do a review now since we bought several items here and they have mostly stood up to the test of time. We bought 2 large LED mirrors for our Master Bathroom which have actually been fantastic. We also bought 2 other LED mirrors from Costco for our other bathrooms, and I'll have to say that the ones we bought here are much, much better and they were around the same price as Costco. You can definitely see the difference in quality not only in the lighting, but also in the mirror quality as the mirror we bought here has a much more clear reflection. I always thought a mirror is a mirror, but that is absolutely not true and it's clear when you have two different brands to compare them to each other, you can definitely see how one might have a better reflection than another. We also bought a freestanding bath tub which has so far been excellent. No issues so far and it also feels much bigger when you actually take a bath in it, then when when we saw it in the showroom. This also was probably around $200-300 cheaper than if we bought a similarly sized one at Home Depot or Lowes. With our freestanding bath tub, we also bought a freestanding bathtub faucet in nickel. Again, so far it's worked great and we have no complaints. This also was much cheaper than buying a more popular name brand such as Delta or Kohler. I would think it was more than half the price of the name brands. This was probably our best deal at Luxor. Finally, we bought 2 different brands of one-piece elongated toilets. This was probably our biggest disappointment. Although the price of these toilets were probably around one-half of name brands, such as Kohler, I think in the future, I would just go with a name brand. These aren't bad toilets, but one of the brands has really cheap seats that move around a lot. We tried to replace the seats, but it's hard to find a perfect size that fits. While the other toilet's seat is fine, but will splash a little water outside the bowl when you flush, which is kind of gross. Overall, we can live with the deficiencies of these toilets and would probably give them 3 stars for the price, but taking into account the other items, I'd have to give them 5 stars. Also, overall, the customer service is good. I wouldn't say great, but good and probably better than if you were to purchase at Home Depot or Lowes.”
