Founded in 1967 by Grandmaster Lee, East West Kung Fu schools have served the East Bay for over 50 years. With an instructor staff of over 40 certified World Class Black Belts, East West Kung Fu is the premiere Chinese Martial Arts School in America. East West Kung Fu teaches Martial Arts, Tai Chi and Self-Defense classes for men, women and kids in the Lamorinda area.
My child adores Richard Lee’s East West Kung Fu in Lafayette. The teachers are so focused on guiding students to advance in body, mind, and chi. The space is welcoming and nicely lit. Communication about classes and events is consistent and kindly. We love this fabulous school of Bok Fu Do!

Awesome experience at East West Kung Fu for several years now! Supportive and fun instructors motivate my children and provide focus, exercise, discipline (to work hard to achieve next belt) and encouragement. I highly recommend the studio!
