“I had an amazing experience Casey at the front desk and the manager Nick Bachib ensured a one of a kind stay here. This hotel is so close to the Main Street shops. There are wonderful restaurants all around. A heated pool for later in the evening when it’s too cold to swim in the ocean. 10/10 experience can’t wait to book my next visit.”

“I was there here this past weekend. The lady that checked me in and the guy that checked me out had to be some of the friendliest people that I've ever experienced working at a hotel. The room had everything I needed and just a little more. The location is pretty good but it's not directly on the beach. We ended up booking another hotel that's directly on the beach and the boys stayed here over night and me and the miss stayed at the hotel directly on the beach”

“We had a little staycation here celebrating our anniversary and we will make it an annual visit. From the front office person Christian to the bell hop , everyone here is so nice and friendly.
The view from the room was perfect with 180 degree ocean view. Two fun hanging chairs on the patio that we enjoyed both morning and evening. The room amenities were a bonus with an extra comfortable king bed and soft linens, the relaxing music, aroma diffuser, and lavender pillow spray were great additions. The toiletries were also nice sized and beautifully scented. A short walk to main beach restaurants made this the perfect location. We will be back next year.”

“This boutique hotel has a small number of rooms, which makes it feel cozy and peaceful. The common areas are charming, and the room was very clean and well maintained. The walk to the beach is beautiful, and the beach is close by. Parking was easy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with all of my requests. I had a great experience overall.”

“My friend and I stayed in California for our first time ever, and we found this great hotel for a great price. We had a 3-5 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to the Bay Point View. We felt super safe in the area, including during the night. Front desk was super kind and informative about staying in Laguna Beach, and explained the free trolley system. We had a car but regardless it was nice to know for future trips. Will be returning for sure.”

“I’d love this place! It’s old, and unique and so close to a beautiful beach. It’s also within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shopping. I’m glad they have a parking lot as well. It’s not too expensive compared to other places in Laguna. I’ve stayed here twice now.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We were a bit nervous due to some of the reviews and because we booked last minute due to a cancellation at our other hotel. But we were highly satisfied!

The lobby area and outside of the hotel is quite charming. The balcony room was spacious and cozy. The bed was comfortable and they provided both a firm and soft pillow. The walk to the “downtown” area was closer than it seemed. Took me about 20-25 minutes to walk there and it was easy, scenic, and safe walk.

A few items to be aware of:
- showers are a bit small
- balcony room doesn’t necessarily mean ocean view. Our balcony overlooked a parking lot with just a peak of the ocean. This was ok because the ocean was literally steps away from the hotel around the corner.
- breakfast in the morning was minimal, just pastries”

“My favorite place to stay in Laguna Bch! Comfortable rooms breakfast, walkable to beach and shopping. The staff is so friendly, Jonathan is great ! I highly recommend Art Hotel”

“I was in town for 2 nights to see some music nearby. I was traveling alone so I knew I would have to shoulder the burden of a room by myself as opposed to splitting it with someone, and I wasn't looking forward to that I found 14 West to be quite reasonable and accommodating. I had spent the night before at a hotel in Hollywood where I walked away with just a really bad taste in my mouth because of the way the front desk and hotel staff treated me as a patron. Happy to say that I had just the opposite experience here. 14 West welcomed me with open arms.
the room was perfect for what I needed that night. A couple of things were, according to some reviews, little outdated. For instance, the heat in the room didn't really work and it was kind of cold that night. But they were able to give me a space heater and that was that. What mattered most to me was that I was in my favorite Beach Town, and I had a safe friendly, accessible and affordable place to stay. I would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone. “The location of this Hotel is perfect it’s right on the beach and easy access to it . The rooms were decent but you’re definitely paying for the view. I got the two queen beds ocean front (reef) please know they have 3 different buildings and in the (reef) building they do not have elevators only stairs. Also it’s $45 a night for valet and that’s the only parking they have. I just booked on the actual website and went to deals and you can choose the parking package and it will be free valet parking. Overall, it was a nice stay, just the view alone was worth it . Oh I also want to add the staff that does the valet parking are very helpful.”

“We loved our experience at Larson's! The view was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious, and our server Cristo truly made the entire experience unforgettable. He gave excellent recommendations for both our meals and drinks, and everything he suggested was spot-on. Cristo made us and even the tables next to us feel so welcomed and relaxed, which really added to the overall vibe of the evening. The ambiance was wonderful, and we can't recommend this place enough. If you visit Larson's, definitely ask for Cristo, you won't be disappointed!”
