Laguna Surf Lodge by SCP Hotels offers a phenomenal location right on the main road through town and directly up the hill from the beach. Beach access is exceptional, just a short walk down a path, and the hotel supplies beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. It is also perfectly walkable to all the shops and restaurants. The amazing rooms provide incredible views directly looking out over the Pacific, with small balconies featuring lounge chairs. While rooms are not huge, the comfortable avocado mattress ensures wonderful sleep to the sound of the crashing waves. The outstanding, friendly, and helpful staff are consistently noted as one of the best parts of a stay, being welcoming, accommodating, and possessing hearts to serve. The property has a cute aesthetic and offers nice amenities. While the pool is okay but without an ocean view, and some feel the property could use more maintenance, the unparalleled view and perfect location are acknowledged to make up for everything else. Parking is easy with valet, though not especially cheap. Overall, this hotel provides a wonderful, highly recommended experience centered on its unbeatable beachfront setting and exceptional service.
Rooms are amazing! Views and beach access are exceptional! My favorite part is the outstanding staff! They all have hearts to serve and make your stay unforgettable! We live locally and stay here frequently for our R&R! I absolutely recommend this place!!

Sebastian and Andrew have been awesome. Super friendly and helpful. I been here before when it was the Riviera hotel and I’m happy to see the huge upgrade in not only the amenities and the looks but in the service as well.

Me and my family loved d trying about this hotel. The location and aesthetic was perfect loved how there were many walking distance shops. But most of all I loved how nice all the staff were.
