They have so many different types of pots, plants and fountains. Everything is also very reasonably priced. “I've been a Lowe's guy for years. I'm a Home Depot guy now (Lowe's only due to proximity). My Lowe's has some good people that work there, and they have good sales from time to time, but HD obviously has a way better climate. The employees are always happy. The prices are almost always better, and the place just SMELLS like a DIY home improvement store ought to. I love this place.”
“I love Home Depot for it materials that I can quickly purchase, and I love the variety quality of the materials, and I love the people that work there. For the most part, they are helpful and knowledgeable. I am mainly, however, writing this review to acknowledge an exemplary employee, who turned negative things around and made my latest visit a very positive appointment.The story of that visit.As excellent as Home Depot is, there, is one issue, however, that has failed to improve over the years, and that is communication by phone. I have had multiple phone, call, disconnects, and people who were not knowledgeable that should not have been answering the phone to give advice or information. Case in point. I drove to my local Home Depot in Mission Viejo, California, yesterday morning, just before they opened at 6 AM. I was trying to find out information about their Christmas tree lot, a place where we have purchased our trees through the years, and been extremely satisfied with the quality and variety of the trees they have there a lot. As I approach the area with a lot was, I saw no signs outside, showing the times that they were opened, so I decided to call (not wanting to get out of my car on the cold morning and go inside. The automated system gave me multiple hangups, so I decided to wait until a later time. I called again at seven, and then again at eight, but could not reach any live person. I eventually did have someone answer the phone call, but I could not understand him, nor could he understand me. He transferred me to customer service, that ended up being a warranty Department at another location. The woman was helpful, and she gave me information; however, the information was incorrect. She told me that the lot would be opened at 6 AM, which was not true, and she also told me that there would be a new Monday morning delivery of fresh trees, but that they would not be offloaded until Tuesday morning, so I should just wait patiently until the next day.My better judgment, and my knowledge of how the workers at the Christmas tree lot are always ready to offload and always ready to help prompted me to visit the lot in person at 1 PM on Monday. Ali greeted me, asked if he could help, and told me that they were at that moment, offloading the delivery that it just came in. he was only able to pick out an excellent tree for me, but he on the car, gave suggestions about taking it off the car. When I got home, apologize for the incorrect information I had received earlier, and sent me on my way, another successful Home Depot visit, successful only because of an employee who, at this busy pre-Christmas time, chose to go above and beyond.”
“Devil Mountain Nursery is one of the best wholesalers! The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Plus the amount of plants available is amazing. When I need to check availability or prices they quickly get that information. And if they don't have the plant available they often try their best to source it. All around great experience. Please note that as a wholesaler, they are not open to the public so normal consumers who want to purchase from them needs to have a contractor.”

They offer a myriad of discounts for contractors, military and credit card holders.
The store is generally neat without a lot of products blocking the aisles. There are an ample number of associates to provide direction and answer questions about the location of products.
Returns are completed quickly and efficiently. I have found that sometimes it's better to purchase extra items so you have options to complete your project without making multiple trips. This has saved time and gas because you can return the excess material on your next project.”

“The dude working the Xmas Tree Lot with the epic handlebar mustache was such a peach!! Let me have the Christmas Tree lower branch trimmings they'd neatly collected in a basket. I upcycled all that lovely greenery, giving it new life in the form of a wreath! Many tree lots (and basically every company in general these days!) want to nickel and dime every person for every last cent and will charge for these cuttings; others will waste this small but precious resource just tossing these beauties in the garbage. Not everyone has the time or skill to custom make a wreath and would prefer to buy a wreath ready made for them. Home Depot and I happily fit into the middle of this: no wasted tree trimmings, no ridiculous up charging, no need to buy some mass produced wreath, just a lovely day spent outside making something cool out of something saved from the landfill which I hadn't needed to pay for and feeling grateful! Thank you handle bar mustache guy at Home Depot!”
