“This group at Veterinary Neurology Center is incredibly special. After my sweet Rylee began seizing from meningitis/encephalitis, we were referred here and taken care of by such wonderful people who care deeply about their jobs and your pets. Rylee was first under Dr. Vurik’s care, where she was diagnosed with epilepsy, and she always treated us with kindness and compassion. Dr. Vurik answered my many questions and helped me navigate this scary and unpredictable disease.
After Dr. Vurik’s departure, we were seen by Dr. Dugas, who is incredibly knowledgeable and was instrumental in Rylee’s care as her epilepsy became more and more aggressive. The girls at the front desk are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Not only were they on top of my many phone calls and prescription refills, but they always treated us like family. Rylee absolutely loved visiting and was showered with love, affection, and her favorite—treats.
Without this amazing group of people, Rylee would not have been able to live such a full and happy life for almost nine years. When Rylee suffered a massive seizure, I couldn’t have navigated it without them. Ultimately, Rylee passed, and the love I received absolutely blew me away. They sent me flowers, and we cried together on the phone. I will never forget how you treated me with such kindness during the worst thing I’ve ever gone through—the loss of my soul dog and best friend.
I am incredibly thankful to you all for giving Rylee the best life and, in turn, making me the luckiest dog mom in the world. You guys are the best. ?”
“We recently moved to the area. In the brief time we've lived here, we've had two emergencies, with two different pets. In both instances, we've had our pets treated that day, without having had an appointment. Both times the quality of care has been great treating the underlying cause. The staff was wonderful, communicating with, keeping us informed, and checking up afterwards. We couldn't have been happier with the overall service.”

From the moment we arrived, the doctor and nurses were incredibly fast, sweet, and efficient, which made the whole process so smooth and stress free. You can really tell how much they care about the animals and the pet parents.
After their vaccinations, I was a little worried about something and gave them a call. They were so reassuring, took the time to answer all my questions, and even offered to have me bring my kitties back in just to check on them. That level of kindness and dedication means so much.

“I cannot recommend Northwood Animal Hospital enough, especially for those with small pets. My bunny Artemis has been seen by both Dr. J and Dr. Roberts, and they are both incredible, knowledgeable, and compassionate vets. I also have nothing but glowing praise for all the vet techs and front desk staff there. Kate and Minerva especially are so sweet and responsive. Everyone here has so much patience and grace.
Unfortunately, my sweet girl passed away during an amputation surgery, but she was older and her paw had become infected. I know that the staff did everything they could…sadly it was just her time. I am so, so grateful to the care that was given to her in the time we spent going to Northwood.”

Hospital with experience. I could not recommend this place enough. Every single person from the front desk (shout out Alexis) to the doctor Huang was so incredibly kind and thorough. They called to check in, reminders, and were very responsive and quick. These guys know what they’re doing and are really professional. If you’re traveling and need a health certificate , go to them. They even use a program that lays out all the requirements to make sure nothing is missed.”

“I saw doctor Fanous for the first time yesterday with my dog who injured her leg. He's so very kind, calm, and gentle and we just loved him! Other vets have been somewhat nervous working with my bullmastiff mix because of her size, appearance, anxiety at the vet even though she's never tried to bite anyone(only barked) but they'd always ask me to muzzle her just in case. I came in with her muzzled, prepared for more of the same. Dr Fanous was the first one to ever ask me to take her muzzle off to let her be more comfortable and worked at her pace/comfort level with me there to keep her calmer/feeling safer instead of taking her to the back alone where she's more afraid. She always barked at her last vet when he'd walk in and he in particular seemed very afraid of her which just made her more nervous with him. She didn't bark once with Dr Fanous, was much less stressed around him, and was taking treats from his hand by the end of our visit! Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, he will definitely be our new vet from now on. It's so worth it! If you have a nervous, anxious, fearful, or giant dog that other vets aren't comfortable with, go to Dr Fanous!”

I was always impressed by her ability to cite studies off the top of her head whenever I had a question.
Everything was always smooth -- communication, their coordination with Mixlabs for compounded medications, referrals to veterinary dentistry as needed, along with appointment and waiting times.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Canine Rehabilitation of Orange County, especially Lauryn and Dr. Heidi. This was our very first visit, and we were immediately impressed by how caring, knowledgeable, kind, and transparent they are. They take as much time as you need, explain everything in detail, and truly welcome questions. My boy- Popeye- absolutely loved them—even at his very first visit.
The front office staff, Princess and Nikki, are absolutely delightful—so warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you walk in.

“Amazing !! I utilize this vet bc I foster for different rescues and what sets this vet apart (besides the amazing vets), is their front office staff!!! I have had to stop going to at least 2 or 3 vets in the past, due to the front office staff being completely rude and abrupt. The ladies here (cuz I haven't seen men upfront) are top notch. They present with such knowledge, patience and loving kindness, it really makes the visit go much smoother!
Then the back office techs and nurses are very skilled and caring.

“Dr. Hensley has been both knowledgeable and professional when helping my elderly rat. He's been able to answer all of my questions and concerns, and I feel like my rat is in good hands.
The fact that this facility has a nebulizer has also been of extreme importance. My only complaint is that that there was a time that nobody told me to put a certain medication in the fridge, but I figured it out since it was on the bottle.”

“My cat and my visit to Laguna Hills Animal Hospital was such a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The vet tech and Dr Jon were so kind and offered me sound advice that made me feel comfortable and like I could trust them with the health of my baby(cat). I can tell that the vet really has a passion for what he does and the expertise to back it up. He handled our visit with grace, answered all of my questions, and even let me know about vaccines that Latte wasn’t up-to-date on, so we could take care of that too. I never once felt like I was being pressured into care that I wasn’t seeking for my cat. The visit was reasonably priced as well. This will definitely be our new vet from now on.”
