I went in for a scheduled appointment for color and cut .. My stylist applied my color and when on to wash and cut another client. She had me sit for two hours. This whole time she was talking. She then proceeded to wash my hair and cut it. I asked for a layer cut. And I ask to cut my hair short. She cut maybe 1/4 of an inch. During this time my stylist was arguing with another stylist over hair products that had been stolen. It was a terrible experience that costs me $165 Two weeks later the color has already washed out ! Don’t waste your time or your money! This shop is lousy!! Olivia Yslas

This review is mostly for Yalda!
I started coming to her about a year ago for haircuts, after a particularly unbalanced one left me frustrated. My hair is thick, coarse, and heavy—something that many hairdressers struggle to work with. Even when I brought in pictures and videos of past haircuts I liked, the results were often too thinned out or just not quite right.
It took a little time for Yalda and me to figure out exactly what I was looking for, especially since I wasn’t sure how to explain it myself. But what stood out was her patience and dedication. She took the time to ask detailed questions and really listen. She even squeezed me in on her day off (since she was already coming in to do color for another client), which I appreciated so much!
I ended up getting so many compliments on my new style and bangs. Thank you, Yalda! I look forward to seeing you again soon.

MYSLF is a fragrance that aims to embody modern masculinity, celebrating all facets and emotions of a man. It's described as a woody floral fragrance with a unique and long-lasting trail.
Key Fragrance Notes:
Based on the search results, the main notes you'll likely experience are:
Top Notes: A fresh and vibrant accord, often featuring bergamot (both Calabrian bergamot heart and vert de bergamot) and sometimes a spicy touch of black pepper (especially in the Le Parfum version).
Heart Notes: A prominent and rich orange blossom absolute from Tunisia, crafted specifically for YSL Beauty. This gives the fragrance a distinct floral character.
Base Notes: A sensual and textured woods accord, typically including Indonesian patchouli heart and Ambrofix™. The Le Parfum version also features a velvety vanilla bourbon infusion, adding warmth and a sensual ambery trail.
What to Expect:
Scent Profile: Many reviews describe MYSLF as a clean, fresh, and somewhat sweet fragrance with a noticeable floral (orange blossom) presence balanced by woody and ambery undertones. Some compare its clean feel to fabric softener or a sophisticated soapiness.
Versatility: It's often mentioned as a versatile fragrance suitable for various occasions and seasons, especially spring and summer, but with enough warmth to work in cooler weather too. Some reviewers consider it a great everyday or office scent.
Longevity and Projection: Opinions vary slightly, but generally, the Eau de Parfum is reported to have moderate longevity and projection, making it noticeable without being overpowering. The Le Parfum version is described as having good to great longevity and projection.
Your Excitement is Understandable!
Buying a new fragrance is always a treat! MYSLF seems to be a well-received scent that many find appealing for its modern and clean character with a touch of floral sweetness. Enjoy wearing it and experiencing how it blends with your own unique chemistry!

From Welcome to Watched: An Uncomfortable Ulta Experience:
I visited this Ulta yesterday to pick up an online order and grab a few additional items. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by the cashier, (Mia) which was a great start. Picked up my online order, grabbed a bag to shop as I had my list ready.
Within five minutes, a blonde-haired woman—possibly a manager—approached me, asking if I needed help and letting me know about a free gift with purchase for StriVectin. I politely declined and continued browsing. A few minutes later, she came back to check on me again. I assured her I was still fine. Then, yet again, she approached me while I was looking at lip glosses. At that point, I decided to ask her opinion on the Clarins lip oil vs the Kylie lip oil; but her response was dismissive—she said, “They’re all about the same.” It felt like she was more focused on checking up on me rather than actually helping.
A few minutes later, she returned again and asked if I was still doing okay. This time, I asked about another brand, and she vaguely told me it “might be over there” and that she wasn’t sure if they even carried it anymore. It was clear she wanted me to move along rather than assist me.
At this point, I felt incredibly uncomfortable—like I was being watched as if I were doing something wrong. I’ve worked in retail for over 20 years, including Ulta in Atlanta (Buckhead), so I completely understand the importance of customer service and loss prevention, but this was excessive. I decided to check out and was helped by the same friendly cashier (Mia) who initially greeted me. Meanwhile, the blonde-haired woman, who had been shadowing me the whole time, was now sitting down (at the benefit display) at the front of the store on her phone. No acknowledgment, no goodbye—just a complete shift in demeanor.
To make things even weirder, after I checked out, I sat in my car for a few minutes looking up my next stop. As I was pulling out, I noticed the same woman was now outside on her phone. The whole experience felt off, and I left feeling more like a suspect than a valued customer.
I will not be shopping at Ulta again. This level of scrutiny made my visit uncomfortable, and it’s something that should be addressed. I’ve always loved Ulta, but this experience left a bad impression.

If you need to shop Ulta, go to a different branch. Completely agree with the other reviews—this was the worst customer service I've ever seen. The cashier would not stop harassing me to give her my number. She didn't even ask or explain why, she straight out just said give me your phone number. When I asked why, she said it was for points. Told her I didn't need points, but she still kept pushing, saying stuff like well, maybe you already have some points, give me your number and we can check. Then she claimed she needed it for returns, but I was buying a tiny bottle of toner and told her I won't return it. The more I said no, the more aggressive and annoyed she got. When I was leaving, she even called me back just to select if I wanted a receipt. Are you serious, Ulta? Learn to take no for an answer and stop wasting your customers' time.
Some people aren't meant to work customer service, some people aren't meant to be around other people at all. I don't know if it's corporate greed pressuring workers to get more sign-ups or just an insanely incompetent, condescending, entitled employee, but this whole experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. Stop hiring weirdos.

Wanted to just go in and browse but I couldn’t walk more than 10 feet without being asked if I needed help. I was in there less than 10 minutes and got asked 8 times if I needed help. Put the stuff down I was going to buy and left.

Walked in and no acknowledgment at all, they were not busy, but avoided us, as we walked all over the store . Unfortunately we did buy items , but do not want to return.

Very disappointing experience. Despite the store being nearly empty, employees stood around instead of helping. One associate said she’d check on something for me but then just disappeared, and another was unhelpful and unfamiliar with the brand I needed. When the shade I wanted was out of stock, they said they couldn’t call another store to see if they had it. It felt like no one cared to do their job, and I even saw the first associate chatting with a coworker instead of assisting me like she said she would. Terrible customer service compared to other Ulta stores I’ve been to.

This review is for the salon customer service. I called to ask a question about Benefit threading policies and my medication. Megan answered the phone and did not know the answer but took down my information and offered to call me back. She called me back less than 2 hours later with an accurate answer and a referral to the nearest location that offered the service and even offered to help me schedule it if I called back. I was very happy with my experience!

I recently had a mixed experience with Ulta Beauty. I opted for curbside pickup, but unfortunately, I ended up waiting about 10 minutes for my package. When no one came out, I decided to go into the store myself. Once inside, the staff was friendly and quickly found my order.

No one to assist with fragrance samples or purchases. They are now locked behind glass and I understand why but you should really have someone assigned to help there. Customer service always lacks at this location.
