I visited Ulta of El Toro, Lake Forest on Dec 18, 2023. Received excellent service from the manager, the cashiers Esmeralda and Hana. You guys are great, kind, helpful and professional. Thank you so much. I gave the store scores as 10/10.

Had a great day getting pampered. Waxing by Mimi, so sweet and wise then my hair colored and a keratin treatment with Ingrid, she is also super nice and friendly.

I love this place! The ladies are always super nice and helpful, but not pushy at all. I'm kind of a tomboy so it's hard for me and places like this to find what I need and I always have anxiety for a walk in there. Because I don't really know where to start. But Rebecca and Jay We're so like beyond helpful. She helped me find everything that I was looking for and when I told her that a product was too expensive for me. She immediately brought me over to a product. That would do the same thing, but there was half the price and made me feel like it was in a big deal. A lot of these make up places like to push stuff on you and make you buy the expensive one. Cause it's so much better, but that wasn't the case. She immediately like took me to the cheaper stuff. And told me the difference between the Cheaper stuff versus the more expensive. Now when I walk in there. I don't feel anxiety at all because they're so helpful. You just have to tell in your situation and what you're looking for and they'll get you exactly what you need even if you have no idea where to start. This is now my favorite Ulta location.... Thank you Rebecca and Jay!!!! You ladies helped a tomboy feel pretty!

This used to be an Ulta I would frequent as it’s close to my job and convenient but as of my last two visits I’m I officially done going to this location. On my last visit I was followed around by security. I started purposefully moving to different aisles just to make sure it wasn’t in my head and dire enough it wasn’t. I’m literally just getting off work trying to grab what I need and get out of the store without being bothered by nonsense.On my visit today an employee named Kassandra looks at me as I walk to the door and barely says welcome in. I day thank you as I’m always do when I’m greeted but I can tell she already had an issue. Once I’m in line and it’s my turn she looks up at me as she takes her time to go to another register and then calls me up. She doesn’t say how are you? did you find everything okay? anything of that nature and just tells me the total. I have three dollars on my account to use and she didn’t mention it at all. So I asked her can you use the three dollars that I currently Have and she was like “You need to click the X so I can cancel it and then add it on” with an attitude. So at this point, I’m matching energy. Because I’m coming off of a long shift, I’m tired, and now you’re being rude because of whatever bias you have in your head based off the color of my skin. As a nurse, I would never treat anyone differently based on what they look like because my job is to take care of you, period. I gave her my money and as I’m looking down to fix something inside my wallet, I can see her just handing me the $15 Back. she didn’t say here’s your change she didn’t count it or anything. So I just take my money, I put it in my wallet and then I walk away. After I got into my car, I took a moment to process everything that had just happened and I called into the store to speak to the manager Jay. She apologized like every manager does, but I doubt that any change will actually happen.

Will Never be coming back to this location. I like Ulta, but The manager at the lake forest location is horrible . She lacks social skills and doesn’t know anything about how to manage a store. I would urge who’s ever in charge of appointing someone as a manager to reevaluate this decision. Perhaps send in a secret shopper and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Go to the location of Alicia, a few miles away, but definitely worth it .

Wow all the ladies were very nice andHelpful. They helped my mom find a product. Grace our cashier was also top notch super awesome! She offered me assistance checked me out fast also signed me up with their program:) thank you! I would come again!

This store is ridiculous. I bought a conditioner and because another store returned the shampoo and messed they wouldn't take back my return. They sell knock off products. Don't shop at Ulta. Staff is rude and unprofessional! Also my mom is 86 she has bought me stuff at ulta in Colorado. Don't have the receipt and she isn't signed up for reward program. The store try's to give you 1/3 of the price back. Such a rip off. Hope this company goes under. They deserve too! My god was reading reviews this store has terrible reviews. Just like I experienced today. Going to let all my friends to stop shopping ulta take your business elsewhere!!!!! Place and employees are a joke!

Went in for a trim and root touch up. Came out with single tone hair color as she either didn't color match well or left the 10 minute hair color on too long (or both?) because she was chatting. She even mentioned that I had red in my hair (I am now pitch black and lost all my highlights). Paid extra for the conditioning stuff and hair feels dry.
