“First let me say I do not lift weights; body build nor am I a client who is working on their appearance. I need it for a medical situation. I thought that this type of place only existed for people who were body builders. This was my own ignorance.
To keep things brief-I had multiple unexpected intestinal surgeries, and had my world turned upside down within the last 3 years. I cannot absorb 100% of the items I consume into my body. For the most part I do not have dairy, any type of animal meat if it is not shredded, no beef at all and no green vegetables.
What I did not understand, and most people do not know that without protein of some sort, your body does not have energy to function let alone enough oxygen to go to your brain to even think-no joke.
A nutritionist helped to find a solution to my absorption issues. She said very specifically I needed an “egg white protein mix” as it is easier on the digestive system overall. It needed to be high amounts of protein; low amounts of fluid and I needed a minimum of 100 grams daily-as no one knows how much I truly take in.
So where do I go to find this item, I go to the Internet.
I know nothing of anything to do within this field-I tried looking online, reached out to all health shops I found on Google-calling was a nightmare as I wasn’t exactly sure what I needed to ask and was beyond frustrated and feeling very incompetent as I could not explain what I was looking for as I was not sure what it was. I just had the criteria.
I also hated that some places I went to in person that I was constantly up-sold the entire visit and would question if it was what I truly needed or not. My protein powder is not covered by my insurance and is totally out of pocket.
On my list was Pro Body Warehouse, whose website had a chat feature and then from the first communication everything changed for me. I had to be very honest about my overall health along with that I was still undergoing surgeries when I first reached out. This is when I first came to meet the owner, Rob. For the last 2 ½ years he has been the one constant factor in my own personal care besides my doctors.
I have never had a chat with him where he could not help me, give me options, where I am long winded like this review, or help me to figure out a solution or even an alternative back up plan. He even had samples brought in once to see if I could tolerate different items. What flavor I do normally buy is not bought in large quantities, but he has it when I need it.
I also know that when I have traveled and have run out--I have had to buy it online from various sources and they all charge at least almost 50% more than Pro Body Warehouse does. That says something about the ethics and integrity of the owner and the company.
I have ALWAYS, and I do mean ALWAYS received unbelievable customer service anytime I have reached out in various ways-whether to ask questions, go into my local location or sometimes I will be in a different area and stop into another store. Every employee, no matter what location, is not only very nice, but more so willing to help you find anything you need to help with whatever it is you are asking, whether it has been for myself or for family/friends who I constantly tell about Pro Body Warehouse.”
