“7/18/23Didn't welcome me in however it was very clean and many options to shop for. Today however I was looking for a closed toe heel and I wasn't satisfied with the very few options there were. On the other hand there are other types of shoes. I have been there before and love how low the prices are and I do like shopping there for regular shoes. I would go back again”

“Gary and Bruce were extremely helpful. Me and my friend went in to get our bows set up to us and buy releases, arrows, and targets. We are both new to archery and Gary and Bruce were really knowledgeable and passionate about helping us out and getting all our equipment ready to use. They took their time to help us with our shooting form and gave us a bunch of useful tips about shooting and maintaining our gear. Overall, they went above and beyond in terms of getting us set up and ready to shoot some arrows! We couldn't be happier with the level of customer service we received.”

“Update: appreciate management reaching out, in response to the review. always had good people in the store, partly why Ive been a long time customer...Been shopping at this store for 20yrs, from both previous locations. Im a little disappointed they return policy has changed and become so strict. Also, they no longer offer custom embroidery. Theyve expanded and offer more stuff, some good l, some bad. Overall, still a decent local clothing store.”

“We've been coming here for years to do our tax returns. After i got married i went to NTS in bakersfield and they messed upon my taxes and i ended up paying the IRS over 2 grand. I immediately went back to El Campeon. I trust them to do everything right as they are super knowledgeable and are up to date on any changes made. I do not mind making the drive from Bakersfield to Lamont. There is one in downtown Bakersfield, but personal preference for me is to visit the Lamont location. I recommend them to all my friend and coworkers.”
