Given there are so few BOAs open in this area, it would be nice if someone answered the phone.

Beware if you need notary services at this branch! Notarizer unable/unwilling to handle any complex notarization such as living trust. Fortunately the exemplary branch manager stepped in immediately and referred me to nearby UPS notary and reimbursed my expenses. Nevertheless, competitive banks such as Republic is staffed with multiple notarizers. Will probably use BA only for rudimentary financial services from now on!

Great location, but long lines. Also, when there is a long line, they only have about 2 tellers running. I suggest you go in the morning.

Trying to solve a problem for a month now, every single tailers is telling a different story and send us endlesly to another department or service. The costumer service here is a joke. And they are rude and clueless. As soon as we will finally solve or problem here, we’ll take our money, will close our account and will go to another bank. And you all should do the same.

I'm beyond frustrated with this branch. I have no words. I've had problems with them before. Every issue I've had revolves around the ATMs. The first issue is regarding the ATMs dispensing money in $20 bills. The machine spits them out and they're visibly damaged. I try to deposit the cash that has just come out of the machine into another account, the machine rejects the cash it just dispenses. Lots of the bills are taped or defaced and should not be kept in circulation. This, however, is not even close to the real issue. Yesterday I went to deposit a large amount of cash, a little under $1k. The machine accepted a large portion of the bills and then started rejecting the rest I was trying to deposit, spitting out the bills. Then the ATM froze. Yes, this can happen. The machine froze with the cash drawer open, just sitting there, with my card still stuck inside. I called the number on the ATM, that number that no one ever wants to call. They were incredibly unhelpful and told me that I needed to stay with the ATM until the cash door closes, which could take up to 30 minutes (you know, screw any of my travel plans or being stuck on the freeway in rush hour to the airport because of this). The associate told me that the account would show a certain amount being credited to the account from the deposit and that the balance would "settle overnight". Next morning, of course, account balance is wrong. I'm really worried that they have stolen some of my money and have called and they told me they were opening an investigation. This branch sucks. The ATMs are problematic and old, and there have been several robberies of this corner of multiple banks in Greenbrae. Do yourself a favor and go to the Corte Madera location instead, or even the pop up ATM in Luckys in Larkspur which takes deposits. Avoid this one.

OK so I know I'm cranky sometimes, but whenever I feel like I've been on a mean reds level for too long I look at my Yelp review scorecard. Ratio of 5 star to 1 star is 6 to 1, so that makes me feel better. In fact many wouId say I like to keep on the sunyside, as the song goes. I don't know who these people are, mind you, but I'm sure there are lots of them somewhere. So what's this got to do with this bank of america branch? My daughter uses it, and over the years I deposit money in her account when her grad school support check doesn't keep her afloat. So last year I tried this and the teller said, nope can't do it if your name's not on the account. Tried again this year, nope again. So I go to the branch with daughter to see how to get the transfer done, and sure enough the manager is eager to look into the issue. "Come back to my offfice so I can document this" she says. Now to cut this short, she and I just didn't get along. All I wanted was an answer, a how-to-do-it kind of thing. This could have been done in the hallway, but apparently this lady wanted to see which of these tellers weren't up on the rules. When did this happen, was it this month, look at the tellers and see if you recognize the one, male or female, .... on and on. I said look I'm not interested in doing your job, of training your employees, so just cut to the chase. Then I must have hit a nerve as I had to listen to her describe her frustrating day and blah blah blah. Look, I'm the customer here, or maybe not, but what I want to know is how to put some money in your bank. So it's reassuring to see that there are many 1 star ratings with mine. Bad vibes here.

The slowest bank I've ever been to and has only one teller with the line all the way outside. The manager walks around and stands behind the teller going nothing to speed up the wait time at all. The security officer is extremely helpful and professional.

Took 30 to 40 minutes this morning just to make a deposit in this branch. 15 people were waiting to be helped. Only 2 tellers. I also did some banking at Wells Fargo and Chase in the same shopping center that morning. Had just a one minute wait at Wells Fargo and no wait at Chase. 18 people were waiting when I left. Same bad service as the bad service waits at their Terra Linda branch. They evidently don't care about their customer's time. And if you don't have an account with them and want to call their national customer service number to get information about their bank accounts or loans, forget it. No current account number, no service. Can't speak to any agent. How idiotic is that! Guess they don't want any new accounts. Same no service if you don't have your checkbook with you. A garbage collector should dump their CEO and presidents into the rest of the garbage.

Worst bank ever. Only bank with huge lines and one teller. They also let people cut the line , they really don't care about the customers like Chase does. Messed up my deposits before too. Please avoid!
