Long version:
I was very interested in a specific dress from a designer that is only available at this location in the city. I spoke with Sammie ahead of my appointment as the timing coincided with the designers trunk show. She put in the request for this specific gown and gave me all the info I needed around production times and how to prepare.

I had my appointment yesterday and was lucky enough that Sammie was my bridal stylist on site. She was absolutely wonderful and made the day the most fun and special day I have had in recent memory, if ever.

She was great at picking out different styles to help me explore without overwhelming me. The dress that I requested was there, and she suggested that I try it on first and was a lifesaver in helping me simplify my thought process when comparing other dresses to the one.

Her aura is golden. As a very short bride, dress shopping can be dreadful. Sammie is a gorgeous, tall, effervescent woman. Having her stand behind me, gassing me up, and encouraging me made me feel like I was a princess in a movie. I never felt pressured to make a decision and knew I could trust her opinion. Her voice is sweet and soothing. She made a day I anticipated would be stressful into a relaxing, easy one.

I felt so good about myself with each dress I tried on. And for the first time in my life, a dress that I had seen in a photo on a model turned out to be the perfect dress for me. It was a dream and I am still on cloud nine a day later.

“Suzanne and the Atelier des Modistes team did a spectacular job with my custom wedding gown. I loved it so much I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the evening! Suzanne has very high standards for fabric and construction – importing her fabric from reputable mills in Europe and constructing each piece in-house instead of ordering from offshore manufacturers. I appreciated these decisions as I reviewed other custom options. Suzanne’s dresses stand out in quality and design, while remaining fairly priced. Since my gown was fully custom, it required multiple rounds of adjustment. Suzanne accepted my feedback with grace and professionalism, making sure the final dress met both of our visions. I hope to have the opportunity to commission another gown from Atelier des Modistes in the future.”
