“They made my dress look like it did the day I bought it! I found Elegance Preserved in my search to find someone to properly clean my wedding dress. I didn't trust a regular dry cleaner and Elegance Preserved was great from my initial inquiry all the way to the delivery of my dress after it was finished. They provided an honest estimate after I submitted photos of my dress (food stains, dirty hem from dancing the night away, etc), reassured me when I was nervous putting such a sentimental gown in the mail, and kept me updated on where my gown was in the process. It took about 8 weeks in total to get my gown back and she is GORG!!! If I got to re-do my wedding again, my dress would be ready to go! “My husband and I decided to wear traditional Filipino Barong Tagalog in ivory with gold embroidery for our wedding. We found this business through a google search and decided to take a look. Right from the start, the owner was polite and receptive to what we wanted for our special day. She was able to show us a few designs that captured exactly what we were looking for in a wedding Barong Tagalog. She instantly knew our sizes and proceeded with fitting us in the Barong we selected so we could see for ourselves while she explained that she personally sourced all the embroidery work and took the time to walk us through how to put them on the day of to avoid causing wrinkles.

Several days before our wedding date, we went to pick up our Barong Tagalog and they looked even more stunning than the ones we were originally shown and were pressed and ready for our big day. The day of our wedding, all our guests expressed their admiration of the beauty of our Barong Tagalog. I highly recommend this business and master artisan of her craft if you are looking for beautiful, traditional Filipino Barong Tagalog attire.”

“I had such a great experience with Tailor Made SF. From the very beginning, I felt like I was in good hands. I brought in a sample sale dress that needed to be taken in quite a bit, and every fitting was efficient, thoughtful, and incredibly meticulous.
By my final fitting, I had lost more weight than expected, and they were still able to adjust the dress beautifully and fit me into their already busy schedule quickly to make sure everything was perfect.
I also had my mom come to my final fitting, which made it really special. They took the time to show us how to bustle the dress and even recorded a video so I could easily share it with my bridesmaids.

“I recently visited Dark Garden and was really impressed with the variety of corsets and the amazing staff. The corsets and clothing are constructed with very high quality and unique fabrics. Everything in the store feels luxurious. While the corsets and clothing are pretty amazing so are all the employees including the owner. From the second you walk in you’re greeted by the friendly and warm employees. They made me feel so welcomed and comfortable (seems rare these days) and allowed me to step out of my comfort zone. Seriously, you get a nice self-esteem/confidence boost after wearing the corsets and clothing in here. You can’t help but feel beautiful after shopping at Dark Garden. I’ll definitely be returning.”

There were many communion dresses to try on, and they were able to order my daughter's favorite in her size and get it here within a week. Dress, shoes, accessories, and gifts are all available here. The quinceañera and prom dresses on display were so beautiful as well. Most of all, the customer service was incredible. You never find a store with that level of care and consideration. They did a rush alteration with very reasonable pricing and steamed the dress because of course that's needed! I wish I got the owners' names - they are lovely. We will be back!”

TLDR: Sammie made my dreams come true, gave me the best shopping experience of my life, and I was able to say yes to the dress!

Long version:
I was very interested in a specific dress from a designer that is only available at this location in the city. I spoke with Sammie ahead of my appointment as the timing coincided with the designers trunk show. She put in the request for this specific gown and gave me all the info I needed around production times and how to prepare.

I had my appointment yesterday and was lucky enough that Sammie was my bridal stylist on site. She was absolutely wonderful and made the day the most fun and special day I have had in recent memory, if ever.

She was great at picking out different styles to help me explore without overwhelming me. The dress that I requested was there, and she suggested that I try it on first and was a lifesaver in helping me simplify my thought process when comparing other dresses to the one.

Her aura is golden. As a very short bride, dress shopping can be dreadful. Sammie is a gorgeous, tall, effervescent woman. Having her stand behind me, gassing me up, and encouraging me made me feel like I was a princess in a movie. I never felt pressured to make a decision and knew I could trust her opinion. Her voice is sweet and soothing. She made a day I anticipated would be stressful into a relaxing, easy one.

I felt so good about myself with each dress I tried on. And for the first time in my life, a dress that I had seen in a photo on a model turned out to be the perfect dress for me. It was a dream and I am still on cloud nine a day later.

“Suzanne and the Atelier des Modistes team did a spectacular job with my custom wedding gown. I loved it so much I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the evening! Suzanne has very high standards for fabric and construction – importing her fabric from reputable mills in Europe and constructing each piece in-house instead of ordering from offshore manufacturers. I appreciated these decisions as I reviewed other custom options. Suzanne’s dresses stand out in quality and design, while remaining fairly priced. Since my gown was fully custom, it required multiple rounds of adjustment. Suzanne accepted my feedback with grace and professionalism, making sure the final dress met both of our visions. I hope to have the opportunity to commission another gown from Atelier des Modistes in the future.”
