“Citrine is my favorite gathering place for all things wellness and fashion. Their classes, sound baths and workshops always help me drop into my body and leave me feeling so inspired. The Himalayan Pink Salt Room is incredible!”

“I met Kenlynn several years ago when she had a shop in downtown Larkspur, but I can't begin to say how excited I've been to discover her new storefront on Union Street in San Francisco. Still a hidden gem, tucked between restaurants on the bustling thoroughfare, I spotted the brilliant color of a fuchsia dress in the window on my initial visit from half a block away. What Kenlynn offers is the opposite of fast fashion. An elegant, human, humane escape from disposable, forgettable garments. Each wearable piece in the store is the creation of her own hands: cashmere, baby alpaca and wool yarns and silks she procures from Italy and dyes herself to brilliant hues, knitted sweaters and dresses that beg to be worn, scarves that make perfect gifts and bring coziness we need year round in the Bay Area. After trying on more than my fair share and falling in love with quite a few items, I settled on an incredible piece she calls "the cocoon," which is every bit as warm and inviting as it sounds. In stunning magenta and purple, it's as vibrant as it is yummy! The perfect piece to nestle up with a book in. Or, in my case, while writing a book. I would love to buy one of every item in the store. Her pieces aren't inexpensive, but quality, love and beauty is stitched into every one. Also, as an added bonus, since she makes them herself, custom orders are absolutely possible. She also carries some fantastic Italian shoes that compliment her wardrobe. (My first purchase from her years ago was a priceless pair of lace-up Italian boots!) Absolutely worth going out of your way for and don't just glance at the items on the hangers. These pieces beg to be tried on and worn!”

“As a child I remember having shoes repaired by the local cobbler. The minute you walk in you smell leather, and the faint hint of glue. It was so refreshing. Harry is a special soul. He and him entire family are loved by the community and friends because they are old school real. Honest business, honest prices, quality work, all with a smile on their faces. Looking for comfortable Birks or sandals? Wondering of an old craftsman like Harry knows his job. Stop wondering. He is the last of a disappearing breed of cobblers. When was the last time you used that word? I have complete faith in his work. He also does leather repair work like he's doing to my belts to resize them because of weight loss. I live across the bay, but we will shop here 1st when it's possible. We are longtime customers and will remail so.”

“I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Julia! I was visiting my family in California for Christmas and I don’t have a Jenni Kayne in my home state and was hoping to exchange a sweater I got in a different color and Julia went above and beyond to not only answer all my questions and deliver on them but also make it incredibly convenient for me to return the sweater and get the exchange done without me having to drive an hour each way for me to get there! Thank you Julia for helping me and for making me a loyal customer of Jenni Kayne!”
