“Laced should definitely be your "go to" spot for fly kicks. They drop new items quite often. They also coordinate outfits with the shoes so they are ready to buy together. From hats, shoes, shorts, socks , jackets etc.. they have you covered. The staff is helpful and are knowledgeable about the products.”
“I had a great experience with the team at this location and was well taken care of while going through the process of ordering a full custom suit and shirt for my wedding. The fit came out great and I love how breathable and lightweight the materials are.
When it seemed like my shirt wouldn’t make it in time for my wedding, Kellen and his team went above and beyond to provide me with a back up option, but ended up rush shipping my custom shirt so that I had it in time.

“This place is simply amazing! Their professionalism and efficiency, along with the multitude of fabric and construction options are beyond anything I could have imagined. I was especially impressed with Joseph Yoon, their representative in the Culver City location. This man either wrote the book on superb customer service or should do so! To have custom-made clothing with the guarantee that, upon request, the tailoring can be redone if necessary, all the way back to re-creation of the original design was way beyond my expectations. And the price is competitive with high-end off-the-rack clothing purchased from a local department store. I plan to use them for all suits and pants I purchase in the future.”
“Couldn’t have better feedback for the staff at the S&L Manhattan Beach store. Kellen, Gabriel and the team actually reached out to me via text message when the saw that I had an eCommerce cart and offered to help complete my order. Since then, even though I’m based in Chicago, I have purchased exclusively through them (currently have 10 S&L suits and even more shirts). Recently I wanted to pick up a couple suits and they seamlessly coordinated such that I could pick them up from the NYC store while I was in town for work. Just outstanding service all around. I also sent my brother to them to purchase some clothes for his wedding earlier this year. They took great care of him as well. The blue velvet tux in the picture earned me many compliments at the wedding, highly recommend! I actually used to only purchase fully bespoke suits and shirts, but now have converted to S&L given the fit, quality and comfort.”
“Carter was fantastic! My fiancée and I flew out from Orlando because we could not find any LGBTQ friendly custom suit businesses in the North and Central part of Florida. From the virtual consult to the in person visit, the staff at the El Segundo location made us feel comfortable and welcome.
Carter took care of our in person visit and he was extremely patient with my indecisiveness and accommodated my inability to visualize by doing his best to grab examples from what was available in store so I could get a better idea as to what we were creating.
At the very last minute, I changed things up on him and he remained patient with me. This was my first time designing a suit and the entire process was overwhelming for me but Carter helped ease me through the anxiety.
Will definitely return to this location when I am ready to create my next custom suit.

“One of the Best Places I have gone yet to purchase Pendletons. We bought 4 Pendletons and received a Promotion Free Pendleton Aluminum License Plate. A lot a customers but a full staff to service and attend to. They have great customer service. The owner Mr. Greenspan helped us with our purchases. They have so many options of clothes and Street trend clothes and are trending on social media also. Going back again to get more clothes. Love this place. Historical store.”
“Tulio is my guy! I came in a week before I had to attend a black tie wedding. Tulio at first impression was very hospitable and very nice. Once he took my measurements and got my tux, I knew he knew what he was doing. The day I put the tux on, I looked magnificent. I told Tulio the wedding was great gatsby themed, and he got it on point. What a wonderful guy and a wonderful business. Could not recommend it more and definitely coming back”
“I don’t have the suit yet (it’s only been a week so can’t give it 5 stars) but my appointment in Santa Monica, CA for a tailored suit went very well. The young man I had was fabulous and from
Maryland. He listened and provided me many options. I live in LA but work mostly on the East Coast and a suit is still very much required in my line of work. It has been very difficult to find a suit under 1K that is well tailored, fairly conservative, quality fabric, and is not black in LA. My Husband has no problem, but as a woman in need of a business suit, it’s become harder and harder to find. At Indochino they are still building out their women’s line and I hope they continue on that path. I went with a woman’s blazer for the cut but men’s pants for how they sit and fall. The color and fabric options were great w/ a Price point of about $600+. I should have my suit in about another week and I was told I could have further Modifications If needed. Indochino if you are listening - do more suits for women or unisex also more styles for women including trouser pants. For the rest of you, powerful women still like powerful suits and we shouldn’t need to be in NYC or pay 2K to get one!”

“A spectacular venue! The host, Mr. Cordoba, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the night--and I had not expected him to be as involved since technically I was the one buying/responsible for the space--so it came as a very pleasant and helpful surprise. There were many tables available as well as chairs, and the space is set up perfectly for a small, medium, or even large-sized event. I also ended up renting a tent, and it offered a great covering for the outdoor space at the back of the venue where we kept food and played games. The speaker system was great too. I ran out of music halfway through the night, so the host also provided some of his own, which was nice. There was a designated bar space which everyone loved as well. Parking is readily available and easily accessible. And all of this comes at an EXTREMELY affordable price. I would happily recommend the space to anyone interested, and I would also love to host another event here at some point!”
“PECLA is a hidden gem in the South Bay Area. The services is exceptional and the food is great. We had the gem salad with Salmon and the 917 burger with fries. The Salmon was a bit under cooked, so next time I'll order it well done. They run the Porsche cars on the track 3X a day, 9am, 12:30, 2p, but you should check for exact times. Be sure to get there early to get a seat at the window. Highly recommend PECLA & 917 restaurant!”

The staff was busy at work or attending to other customers clothes, but the owner still took the time to explain the wait time and answered my question about how the selling process worked. 10/10 solid thrift store with a good selection. Even after they were done, they were kind enough to make further changes to match my needs. They were honest with what they could and could not do and they did great work at a reasonable price. “My wife and I recently visited the DXL Big & Tall store in Culver City with a friend who was shopping for her brother—and we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be.
The sales associates were incredibly helpful, attentive without being pushy, and really knowledgeable about the store's offerings. While we weren’t the ones shopping, I still felt welcomed and appreciated. One of the team members even complimented an accessory I was wearing, which sparked a fun moment and showed how personable the staff is.
At one point, my wife and I needed to use the restroom, and during that time I had a great conversation with the store manager. Somehow we got on the topic of pens and ended up having a full-on discussion about Montblanc—a rare but genuinely enjoyable moment of connection you don’t expect to find in a retail setting.
All in all, even though we weren’t the ones making the purchase, it felt like a great visit. Friendly service, good energy, and an overall positive experience. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in need of big & tall items!”

We have traveled from coast to coast and have been asked by several African natives where we got our clothes. We were told that our clothes are authentic to their home. “AMAZING experience all around! My friend and I were looking for a place to rent bikes. Lo and behold, Beach Bound Sports came to the rescue. Conveniently located right across from Pier Plaza, Beach Bound has amazing rates, sufficient rental options, and an amazing staff! Xavier was incredibly kind and helpful. We had a problem locking our bikes (user error) and we called the shop and they quickly responded and helped us out! I would highly recommend going to Beach Bound for all your beach gear needs and supporting a local Hermosa Beach small business. YOU GUYS RULE!”

The store was well organized with many friendly workers offering a shopping bag etc. What I was very impressed and thankful for was the customer service. “Found this place in 2015 and come every once in awhile. Most recently needed a last-minute suit for a wedding and Michael and Norma were awesome. I intended to get a black suit but they didn't have my size on hand so Michael offered to call another store and check but instead with he and Norma's help I got a charcoal gray suit with a lavender dress shirt & Michael suggested where I could get a matching bowtie online. I wasn't sure about the gray suit right then when trying it on but at the wedding when I had the whole look together it's now one of my favorite formal fits.”
