“Wow, a nice change to see a full exchange, food court and commissary. Especially at a sister military branch. My husband is retired Air Force, and we live in Cheyenne WY, our exchange and commissary would fit into this one at least 3 times. Very helpful employees. We actually needed to have my husband's dress blues altered and cleaned do to my father passing who had been in the Navy during Vietnam. So, they directed up to wear we needed to go, to the uniform shop that also did alterations and cleaning. The staff there was awesome. My husband was one size when he retired in April 2014, however has been fighting cancer the last year, the lady in alterations understood and extremely patient with us and finding that the way to make his uniform 2 sizes smaller and still look the way way it did when he retired. We're staying in Fresno as that's where we're originally from, and where family lives. So, we contacted the Fresno Air National Guard, and local Air Force recruiting office to ask where they take their uniforms for alterations and such, they all unanimously said Lemoore NAS, so that's where we went. Thank you”

We visited the NEX Lemore a few weeks ago, while we driving to southern California. Like many of the military shopping stores, this location offers great prices and brands. The facility is located on the NAS Lemore, so visitors must have a military identification card. This NEX exchange is very clean and was very well maintained to the highest standards.

“If you can shop here it's because you belong to "the club" (Navy/Marine Corps team). The staff here belongs to the same club and they don't forget that fact. Friendly, family. So that's the atmosphere. For the rest, the facility is well maintained, the merchandise is carefully selected and displayed properly. Among the many mini-marts in my experience, this is in the front rank. I wish they were open till 2200 though . . . 9 pm is too early to close.DOUGout”
