They have a few openings left for the upcoming school year 2024-2025. Ages 2 1/2-5, must be potty trained, and reasonably priced.”

“I cannot say enough great things about BMP. Both of our children have gone here for preschool and the level of independence and excellence is remarkable. Ms. Iza, the principal, is a true Angel on earth. She's a brilliant teacher and leads the school with kindness and grace. The teachers are fantastic and teach the children NOT just the curriculum. Every child is given the attention they need and they excel because of it. Both my children understand and can speak Spanish - we do not speak it at home so it's incredible to hear them speak to each other. “Crestwood is SPECIAL! In a city full of pre schools, most of which are great, non stood out to us like Crestwood. Our now 9-year-old daughter started there just before Covid. Her experience was not typical because of the pandemic but the teachers and director took the initiative to make it work and work well. The school went digital for just a few weeks and then had a plan to bring everyone back. Most of Crestwood is outdoors, which was such a advantage to us while all of this was happening (and really at all other times).
Kids and teachers went back with masks, and it was like any other time at Crestwood, just amazing! The kids didn’t mind the masks, and it was just the new norm for the next year+.
Crestwood is a Co-op where parents volunteer once a month and I have to admit was not sure I would be able to do at first but by the time our daughter graduated I could get enough, so much that I was concerned at her next school I would not be allowed to volunteer as much as I wanted to, which turned out to not be the case…
Once we had our son (who is there now), we had our daughter enrolled at her current school in the complete opposite direction, but knew we wanted him to have the same experience she did at Crestwood. Convince was never part of our consideration, it just had to be Crestwood!
He loves it there as much as our daughter did and now we are back at what we feel is our second home and our community.
The teachers and director are truly the best of the best at their careers, and they love these children as if they are their own.
Any opportunity that our 9 year old has to go back to Crestwood when she is off of school she jumps at, and still can’t get enough.
I truly believe there is no better pre-school, and no better teachers or school director anywhere on earth. It’s just amazing!”

If I have any concerns the directors takes my needs seriously and we find resolutions together for the benefit of my son. My son is learning ALOT and is thriving. “My Son is 3 and has been attending here since December 2022. He absolutely loves the school and has a great bond with each of the teachers, as well as the children. It is a very special community and a lovely space. The property itself is a California Craftsman cottage which is kitted out like a dream play house for little people. The outdoor areas have lots to keep the children engaged. Including a terrapin called Downtown, and a nearly 100 year old Tortoise called Freddie. There are birds in the house, so the children get to learn about caring for animal friends. Each week I am given artwork which my son has created, in keeping with seasonal and holiday happenings. The staff here are kind, nurturing and patient. They are clearly invested in the children. I feel like my family are in very good hands here.”

“I was on vacation in California and took my six year old daughter here for a day. She had so much fun exploring, inventing and playing with the other kids.

When we woke up the next day, the first thing my daughter said was, “I want to go back to Imaginology.”

We had plans to go to Huntington Gardens, but instead we took her back to Imaginology and dropped her off.

The adults had a nice day at the gardens and when we went to pick up my daughter from Imaginology she didn’t want to leave.

My daughter is usually very shy and anxious around new places and people. The fact that she wanted to go back the next day and was okay with being left there without me speaks volumes.

The staff is very friendly and professional.

The philosophy and activities at Imaginology changed my life and perspective on parenting/childhood development for the better.

I would for sure 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun day with their kid.

“If I can protect my kids and delay some of the things school children are exposed to nowadays, I will try. This school still teaches values and faith. It's a great community of families, solid academics, wonderful faculty and caring administrators. We couldn't ask for more. The campus could definitely use some repaint and refreshing, but for the tuition costs vs the level of academics, it's a great deal. The academic grading scale in junior high is a bit high and academics are rigorous and some do struggle, but it's great preparation for high school. They also incorporate various opportunities for students to volunteer for both the school and community and provide activities to encourage leadership and mentoring skills. I would say "don't judge a book by it's cover". It's worth checking out.”

“I couldn't imagine a better preschool for our children. Tracie, consistently creates fun, educational activities that make learning through play a joy. She goes above and beyond, often organizing special events like petting zoos, bubble machines, gardening in the vegetable garden, cooking, yoga, and music classes, along with hosting special activities around holidays. My 4-year-old daughter, who has been here for two years, often tells me, "Miss Tracie already taught me that!" Enrolling my 4-month-old son in the infant room with Emilie and Maritza was made easy knowing he would be in a loving and nurturing environment. I'm very happy to have found First Friends; we love it here.”

“My child has been attending for about 6 months now and he has done so well here and he really enjoys his teachers here, it is always clean and well organized as well, and have helped immensely with potty training too. They have great programs and spend a good amount of time outside as well. They close at 5:30pm and my only wish was they were open a bit later or had an extended hour option for nights when you need to work late.”

“I am blown away by how wonderful the Mandarin Immersion program is at our school. My daughter has an IEP and Broadway has been nothing but supportive from day one. While I was waiting for her BII to be official, the principal granted my daughter her resource specialist to me for 5 months!!! Our school is outstanding because of the communication and efforts of parents and teachers. We raised $409,000 last year because our parents rock it. It feels like a private school. That being said, it requires parents to be highly involved with fundraising and volunteering. That's what funds all of our TAs and thensome. I thank my lucky stars every day my daughter attends this school.”

“COOS is a fantastic preschool within Westchester! The teachers are truly so wonderful and have such a gift with making their students feel safe, loved, and encouraged. We love that the campus is tucked way within the neighborhood. The classrooms are HUGE and the kids all cycle between 3 different outdoor play areas to keep things new and fresh. The views from the school are unbelievable as well, definitely adds to the ambiance of being tucked away in a gorgeous little pocket of the neighborhood!”

“Savoir Faire has been an excellent preschool for our kids. The teachers are patient, creative, and supportive. The students learn the languages surprisingly well.Our kids have split their time between the French and Spanish classes. Madame Fanny in the French class feels like an extra grandparent for our kids because they have come to bond with her. She is incredible with the kids and has helped me improve my French as well. The Spanish teachers of Patty, Patricia, Jocelyn, Nancy, and others have also been truly wonderful. We love Savoir Faire.”

“What a gem of a preschool! So glad we found this school in 2015 and are sad we are wrapping up our time there. Ms. Josie, the director, has made such thoughtful and important changes to the school's facility to make it a safe, nurturing and engaging place for children. Many of her staff have worked there for years and their kindness and dedication to the children is so apparent. My children know they are loved.There is so much play space (indoor and out) and never a shortage of activities. From the garden yard to the bike yard to the playground to the reading nooks - there is always something to discover, lessons to learn and joy to find. My children learned so many important social skills - they've become confident and independent and remind me to eat my healthy food first (a saying during lunchtime at SJP). We are not Lutheran but appreciated that they teach love and acceptance and to celebrate differences.The classes are small, this is not a giant, impersonal daycare. We bonded with many of the families and feel like we're part of a true community.Tuition is reasonable and the hours are IDEAL for working parents.”

“I chose this place for a backup care day on the Bright Horizons website and my kids had a great experience! My husband dropped by (unannounced) to check it out a few days before their scheduled day, and without looking it up, the director already knew their names and which rooms they'd be in. One of my kids was a little upset at drop off, but they sent a picture and video of him happily playing through the app shortly after my husband left. We've been to one other back up location in the network, but my son says he likes this one better than that one. It was only one day, but this place exceeded my expectations by adding a warm and personal touch.”
