I go there almost every morning, and after two years of eating breakfast here, I haven't been disappointed. They have great staff, who are always very friendly. They always greet, and serve us with a smile. Alejandra always make us feel like we are dinning at home. Even George, the owner, comes out serving us with amazing customer services, and a smile. My family, and I love this place. Even my son Alex gets up every morning at 6 a.m to have breakfast with us. That's how pleased we are. Thank you George, and staff!

The place is kind of off the beaten track but is well worth the drive. Try the shrimp and grits(polenta) it was so very delicious. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Daddy's House of Ribs
13460 Main Street, LockefordWe stumbled upon Daddy’s House of Ribs on a hot Tuesday afternoon while driving back from our trip to the Eastern Sierra. We were starving, and my husband noticed the sign as we passed by—so we turned around to check it out. And I’m so glad we did! 😋
We ordered #10 — Any 2 Meats + 2 Sides for $32.90, which was actually more than enough for the two of us.
For the meats, we chose the beef brisket and ribs, with potato salad and macaroni salad for the sides. Everything was delicious! The meats were perfectly seasoned and so tender. The ribs were truly fall-off-the-bone tender. 🤤
The order also came with a piece of cornbread, and oh my goodness—it was SO good! 😋 I should’ve ordered an extra one for just $2. Definitely one of those things you don’t appreciate enough until it’s gone! 😂
I especially liked the BBQ sauce—it has a little kick of spice, which paired really well with the sides. The potato and macaroni salads were slightly sweeter than what I’ve had at other BBQ places, and I really enjoyed that combination.
The lady at the counter was also very nice and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, even though it’s located along a busy street.
A great little BBQ find that we wouldn’t have discovered if we hadn’t been hungry and noticed that sign! 😂 Definitely worth the U-turn!
Would I come back? Absolutely! 👍🏼🍖 And next time, I’m getting that extra cornbread! 🌽😋
