“We were passing through and we love to hit up local butcher shops. They hand cut and seasoned a couple of filets on the spot, grilled them that night at our camping spot, fantastic. Thank you for the friendly service.”
“Took my first lamb in, they turned it around in a week. Asked for burger, didn't find any in the box. According to the math, I took home just over 50% of hanging weight. Not overly impressed, but by no means disappointed. Leaving a review while I'm still stoked on my freezer re-up. No doubt plan on returning.”
“A few years ago, when economic issues were different, this store was famous for decades. But in the end, that era ended. If your are a commercial business like the market, decisions need to be made to stay open.
If you complain, maybe you should put some of your money in for what you want. The owner is very open to suggestion for what people want (Honest good man) but it has to make a profit to go forward. If you want something, Then be part of the solution. I trust him. His religion forbids lying, cheating, stealing and he is faithful. The store has a lot of valuable infrastructure, and the location is great.
I got a sandwich with potato salad last week. I had one over 2 years ago and haven't since the quality issues then. It was turkey/pepperjack. It reminded me of the sandwiches from the 70's, Big, meaty (nitrate free) lots of everything. So I NOW recommend it. Yes a couple of years ago NO. But Now Yes!!”
“This place is pretty great for what it is. There has been some lows in the past but ever since they've got a new owner it's been improving. Lilly is by far the best Cashier, she's very nice. I really wish the others were a bit more interactive and considerate. They have quite a lot of stock, and being 20 second running distance makes this place very "convenient". The prices are fair considering they are a smaller sized retailer. There are of course going to be some things they can improved on, but I'm excited to see how they grow as time passes. They recently (today) got a little bit of competition, in the produce department. I'm hoping that sparks a little bit of competitive spirit. As no longer will Loleta Market have a full monopoly on its town.I recommend this place if you need something real quick, if you want a drink for the road or anything else simple like that. If you find something displeasing about the store, tell the cashier's in a kind manner in hopes it will reach the owner. Remember they are human, some having to work as late as 10pm for our convenience. Have a great day y'all!”
