“This is the best neighborhood store hands down. Friendly staff, customers are also very nice and respectful. It's exciting for my toddler to come here to pick a treat out. They have an excellent energy drink selection, they have Humboldt Bay coffee, cheapest cigs in town.. I don't drink alcohol, but their selection is massiveness!I will miss this store when we move back to the east coast next month.Keep up the phenomenal job for our community guys. We love you!”

“Wow what a surprise here. I usually have to go up here in Fortuna for week and the lack of food options makes the trip a drag but I'm glad I stumbled on here. First off the lighting in there was immaculate and it was the cleanest grocery store I've ever been in. I was just browsing but once I saw they had a deli counter I gad to get something. I got the pork belly rice bowl which is excellent and reminded me of the food I eat down south in San Gabriel valley. I'm here on work so I didn't shop for groceries but if I lived here this would definitely be a go to spot! Will be returning whenever I'm in town.”

“Today, I enjoyed the Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had since Canter’s in LA!!Perfect and huge!! For $10! Ray’s reminds me of Gelson’s in SoCal. You feel special shopping in this market! Yes, the prices are higher, but you do pay for quality. Ray’s is a superior market and very clean.Also, Ray’s is employee owned! “Fantastic snack stop. If you're looking for some quick snacks to go, or a quick spice or two, this is the place. This isn't a big grocery store, but it's definitely a good quick stop market for bare essentials. The family that runs it is very professional, and runs the store much like a fast food restaurant (get in, get what you need, get out) so there's usually no line.”
“This little country store may not have everything you want but I love this little place! In today’s world with meat prices terrible and doubtful sources, you can still buy locally grown meat here and my husband and I often shop here! We haven’t been disappointed yet!”

“This place is pretty great for what it is. There has been some lows in the past but ever since they've got a new owner it's been improving. Lilly is by far the best Cashier, she's very nice. I really wish the others were a bit more interactive and considerate.They have quite a lot of stock, and being 20 second running distance makes this place very "convenient". The prices are fair considering they are a smaller sized retailer. There are of course going to be some things they can improved on, but I'm excited to see how they grow as time passes.They recently (today) got a little bit of competition, in the produce department. I'm hoping that sparks a little bit of competitive spirit. As no longer will Loleta Market have a full monopoly on its town.I recommend this place if you need something real quick, if you want a drink for the road or anything else simple like that. If you find something displeasing about the store, tell the cashier's in a kind manner in hopes it will reach the owner. Remember they are human, some having to work as late as 10pm for our convenience. Have a great day y'all!”
