“Have you guys never been here to the Portalis? You guys are missing out it’s a hidden gem here in the city of San Bernardino. They got some bomb food and on Saturday and Sundays you can come and get me noodles. They serve with homemade tortillas love the atmosphere love the customer service really recommend you to come check them out. Come check out Los Portales for the Best prime USDA approved meets. I always come here to get my meat and get all my ingredients to make a good salsa they’re marinated meat is fire you guys so if you’re looking for something to barbecue come through here, Los Portales plus the customer service is great and I love the atmosphere and they also sell food so it’s a one stop shop for all your needs”
“I come here often for the weekly deals like 4 lbs of cheese for $12, 4 bags of chips for $10 (yeah, I know I’m gluttonous),
10 single burritos for $0.50 each, $5 for 1lb of ground beef, 4 bell peppers for $5, and sometimes for the hot foods like 8 pieces of fried chicken for $8. Some of the workers there recognize me because of my common purchases and it feels nice in there. Workers are respectful and they usually greet me whenever I pass by them and if there is a problem they are very accommodating and they solve my problems.”
“I shop at a Stater Brothers near me at least once a week. I haven't been to this one in Colton before, but it's a much smaller store with less in the bakery aisle and the wine aisle and even the produce aisle. They do have the fresh cut up produce if you're looking for that. I've added a picture of the bakery which only has those cakes and sweets, and there was a bin of bollo rolls near the front but that was it. Employees are very helpful.”

“Of all the Stater Brothers I have been to, this is the cleanest one thus far and I visited to at least 10 locations. When I first moved to the Ranch, I wanted to make sure there was a supermarket close by in the community. Back in 2019, I met the store manager, who was well into 25 years plus with Staters. He greeted everyone who walked thru those doors. He knew just about everyone who came thru that store. Very friendly and gave the big store community service vibe. The produce are always fresh and so were the meats and cuts.I must say that I can depend on this location to provide the best service every day.”
“It was first time coming in on Tuesday the 4th and I was first greeted by a young man name Gio and I thought I haven't been greeted in a store in along time and another young man name Travis asked if he could help me find anything and said no I was just looking. I told both young men that I haven't been greeted in a store in along time and they said their manager Anthony is big on making sure they greet their customers. Even walking through the store every worker that walk by me said hi or asked if I need help finding anything. Anthony you are doing an amazing job with this Stater Bros store. I wish all stores went back to greeting their customers like this Stater Bros. Gio and Travis you made my experience in your store a good one. You were very respectful as well. Thank You!!!!”

“Now it's very hard to write a review for a grocery store because what do you say, I came there ... got my groceries ... it was good. And most of the time, if you do see a review on the grocery store it's because someone was angry and left a bad one just because something without a place or someone had a bad experience. Most people never post good reviews about the time that they had at the grocery store. With that being said, I have to say at this Stater Bros there are two employees that always make my day great. One of them is Mr. Johnny, I think he's a cashier always in the front or at least. I always see him in the front And the other is a young lady whose name I don't know, so I'll just call her Miss Positive. Both of these employees are always so energetic and friendly It almost feels like Stater Bros started using the same process to hire people as chick fil and starbucks ........... Watch out Vons, Stater Bros is stepping up”

“I like Stater Bros. Decent prices, a clean facility and a great meat selection. I prefer to park on the far end of a parking lot for the exercise but several times my shopping cart wheels locked up before I can reach my car.”

“I went in and got a burrito con asada, with green and red salsa to accompany it, all i can say it hit the spot and tasted authentic and rich such as a lonchera style burrito should taste like. I recommend trying this spot, as it takes a lot to get that authentic type feel to burritos and a lonchera style type taste to it, i recommend the asada burrito, it definitely did not disappoint.?”

“I have visited this store a few times and each time I’m greeted with kindness and feel very welcome, I appreciate all the great help I get when I’m in need of a certain item in the store and can not seem to fine it. “I don't know the name off hand but the Taco spot is fire. The ladies give you healthy portions too. First time I had Baja fries with shrimp and steak and everything else ?. Pictured is the Birria plate I got today. It's really good and the ladies are nice. They even grilled up a jalapeño for me. I definitely recommend if you don't mind getting a little messy. Next time I'm trying the $2 tacos with 5 meat options.”

“I really enjoy shopping at Stater Bros. because the store is always exceptionally clean, organized, and well-kept. The staff members are consistently friendly, polite, and eager to help, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience every time.
While a few items are priced slightly higher than at other nearby stores, the convenience and service usually make up for it. My only major concern is with the fresh steaks on multiple occasions, the steak had a strong, unpleasant smell and unfortunately made my family sick after eating it. Because of this, we have decided to buy all of our regular groceries here, but we now purchase our meats elsewhere.”
