Last week my car started making this LOUD noise out of the blue. Some of my car family said it sounded like it was coming from the engine, I dreaded knowing what was wrong but it was way too concerning to just let be.
My go-to mechanic said he was pretty sure it was a flex plate issue, which unfortunately wasn’t something he could do, as it required removing the transmission. He recommended I go to Transmission Plus! I spoke with Zack and immediately he and the shop were able to give me a quote and diagnose the issue. They worked so quickly to remove the transmission and replace the flex plate. I am genuinely so thankful. My car is absolutely needed for work and family life, I still can’t believe such a big issue was resolved in far less than a week. I didn’t even have time off from work to bring it in-person and they still handled things no problem. The time they saved me is so valuable, not to mention the incredible job done. Thank you Zack and the team for all your hard work and communicating with me each step of the way! They even matched my original quote even though they did end up working several hours longer on it. That was unbelievably kind of them. Thank you guys again.
10/10 I really recommend this place if you have a big or minor car issue and you need it fixed properly and timely. They were also super friendly, I even got to keep the cracked flex plate! “My Pops and I have been taking our transmission(s) to Benson’s for 15+ years. They are professionals in every sense of the word. We had bought an engine that supposedly came with a fresh rebuilt tranny. We installed the engine and tranny, and it would not go into reverse. We took the tranny to Benson’s…they tore it down, diagnosed, made the repair, put it back together ready to be installed when we returned home. From the moment they moved it from the bed of my truck onto the bench, until it was done and loaded in the back of my truck…took about 20 minutes!”

“I was recommended to come to this shop based on their integrity, quality of work, and efficiency. I had my brakes and rotors surfaced same day for a reasonable price.
Later that night, while driving, there was an issue with my tire where it would significantly vibrate at high speeds. I took it in the next morning and Greg immediately took it in to see what the problem was. It appeared that I may have left the parking brake partially set, and they cleaned up and resurfaced the rotor at no cost. He made sure to take it for a test drive to ensure the problem was fixed.
Other shops may have refused to take responsibility and/or charged additional fees.
Greg’s garage take pride in their work and ensure you leave satisfied.
Maybe you can find someplace cheaper, but I’d rather trust my vehicle with a shop that has integrity and cares for the end result of their work.”

WILL suggest if any additional replacements/repairs are needed and for good reason!You want a half-job? “Kim is a dedicated problem solver. I called Import Auto while on a road trip near Barstow. I experienced issues with my wheel bearing that was concerning, but not critical. After calling no less than 20 mechanics in a 200Mi radius, Kim took the time on the phone to provide me with professional guidance and support. He also kept tabs on me as I continued my journey and made it home safe. Although I did not need his shops services I can guarantee that Kim and his team are about as solid as they come.”
