DeForest Park is a peaceful neighborhood area that offers a variety of outdoor activities. It features a nice and clean park with modern, well-maintained playgrounds, picnic tables, and eight pickleball courts along with two futsal courts. The park is situated near a pretty nature trail behind it, which feels like a mini sanctuary with its wooded area and riverbed trail. Visitors can enjoy casual walks, bike rides, or strolls with their dogs along the green strip that runs along the river. Parking is available on the street and in the parking lot, which is convenient and clean, with free restrooms. The area is low-key and relaxing, perfect for families, groups, or individuals looking to stay fit or enjoy nature. Community volunteers help keep the space clean, making it a hidden urban secret garden. Overall, DeForest Park provides a calm, community-oriented environment with opportunities for exercise, relaxation, and enjoying nature.
The small pond is nice for photography, but a little dirty.
