About Hyland Inn
The Hyland Inn is a modern, clean, and comfortable budget-friendly hotel. It is a newly remodeled building that is very utilitarian and offers a great value for the price. The rooms are extremely clean, quiet, and safe, with some noting the beds are a bit firm or stiff. Parking on site is ample and free, though it can be tight for large vehicles. The location is good, with easy accessibility using the metro and a short drive to the beach, aquarium, and downtown areas. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants. The front desk is generally described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating. A point of criticism is a management policy of not providing cloth hangers, which some guests found offensive. An extra holding deposit is charged but refunded. Overall, most guests state they would stay there again.
The rooms are really nice. I asked for 2 beds and didn't expect 2 beds in their own private rooms. The guy was really kind at the window and deserves 5 stars! The bathroom mirror was really nice that lit up 3 different shades of light!!!! Definitely coming back again.

This has been a quiet place for pre cruise. We have a double king room upstairs. The room is huge! We have not had any issues and plan to Uber to port.

Good hotel for the price and area. Clean room. Good service. Free parking in an enclosed courtyard.
